Will be on 4th head coach in four years...AD was the HFC in 2022, went back to being AD and hoops? coach I think in 2023....guy he hired lasted one year...so on to another one in 2024

and East TX really isnt a hot bed for basketball for the most part...there's teams that pop up now and then (seems more common on the girls side) but hoops even at the 3A/4A level seems to be dominated by teams in Dallas/Houston

I'd love for DCTF to do an all-state team but its a big lift with everything else we have going...hopefully we can get a sponsor to do one

It's kinda genius though lol...I respect the hustle

I mean its his publication so he can definitely call it what he chooses....its just a matter of how much stock you put into it...but congrats to those kids for the recognition regardless

There's potential here....high ceiling, low floor but the right guy could make this job really attractive....lots of coaches statewide intrigued by this job
