Region 2 is weak! Eustace, which didn't win a district game in our district easily beat Sunnyvale. Enjoy it while it last. Region 3 is looming in the future.

Here's the Malakoff/ Yoe story. Yoe put six tds on the board and Malakoff put seven tds on the board. You have to make your PATs. That being said there is no guarantee that Yoe doesn't score with 3:12 remaining on the clock. Fact is Yoe came back and pulled off a win. That's what champions do. They're playing this week and were bouncing a basketball. But let me tell you this for all to hear, Malakoff is on the way up. The train is rolling and picking up speed. Yoe and Teague and everyone else will have us in their way and we won't go away easy nor will we go away for awhile. Our best athletes and teams are still on their way. Congrats to the teams moving on, you deserve it.

Lol! So this is all about trying to up one on Malakoff. I get it but you still don't. I don't care about the game. It's senior night. Use your head. When all of this is over we'll look back and see how stupid it was to play in a down pour. What if someone has a car accident, God forbid? Whoever wins, wins. If Malakoff can't beat Kemp then they aren't good anyway, but sometimes common sense is a foreign word to some people. SMH

This has nothing to do with the game people. It has to do with the fact that this is our senior night. Our seniors and their parents are the ones getting screwed. Did y'all ever think of that? We're ok with the game just use your heads. It's not all about the game. But you've always heard, what goes around comes around.

Life has ups and downs. While some of our kids will advance to play athletics and some may play professionally the Mabank kids will probably own the teams they play for. Lol. Pick your future!

Malakoff has talent galore at every position. They are 3-0 as you stated but they still haven't clicked. They're defense is very fast and they're offense is still finding its identity. They have at least ten options and one ball. They'll need everything on the same page when they play Teague. Should be a great game. Hope they're both undefeated when they play in week 8.

The reality is this. Malakoff was tired of beating weaker teams every preseason by 50 points. They need this game, win or lose, to find out if these kids will fight or turn and run. They need this for the Teague game. Malakoff can win this game and win big. Will they? Only time will tell. Regardless they are playing a tough team with awesome history. May the game be entertaining with no injuries and hopefully these teams will meet again this year. If I'm not mistaken that would be 12-18 at jerryworld. Good luck to the black and gold and the blue and white tigers.

Exactly! Malakoff is loaded with athletes also. Its a great place to raise your kids if you like small towns.

"IF" Malakoff has a good showing week 2 against Dangerfield then they will be worthy of a ranking. Time will tell. Otherwise their recognition will come week by week but either way they will be a very tough team to beat, as will Teague.

Malakoff had a couple of move ins from Canton and one from Mabank. Mabank kid is a running back and the two from canton are brothers and play on the line. I hear they are descent college material. Malakoff would be good without them but they just add to the depth. I've heard that this is the most talented group that Coach Driskell has coached in Malakoff. We'll see though. I'm sure Teague will be a force.

Don't sleep on Malakoff. They have Dangerfield week 2 and Teague in district play. Time will tell. They may be real contenders.
