  1. Well said 51, Congratulations to all the shelby county teams that made the playoffs this year. Well done. Center for the first time is a few years, Tenaha for a good year and especially to the Joaquin Rams for making the state semi finals and the 8TH CONSECUTIVE YEAR IN THE PLAYOFFS. You guys left everything on the field and thats all anyone could ever ask. Lets reload for next year.
  2. good job Tigers. You guys hold your head up and I know you will be back next year. Good coaching and good athletes makes a good team.....Thanks for representing our district well.......
  3. we also have a very good coach, one of the winningest coaches in Texas. And he has been doing it for a very long time also and he will have his boys ready to play also. So, get past all that stuff and all teams are supposed to be tackle and swarm to the ball, etc. etc. etc. Tell us something that we don't know, like they have guys with three arms or run sub 8 second 100's or something that will impress us!!!
  4. considering who they played (Junction) I'm not the least bit suprised of that score! But, Goldthwaite is highly ranked and probably deserves it. Sometimes the computors can't figure in the will and heart of the kids and therin lies the win. Yesterdays game showed that many times. So, keep up the will and spirit boys and you'll be fine.
  5. way to go boys. your almost at your goal. don't stop now, get ready for goldthwaite. Bring it back next week also.
  6. Go ahead on Tenaha, you know your actions speak for themselves. I think when its all said and done Tenaha will have another ring. Good luck boys. Your neighbors are pulling for you!!!
  7. I know, lets make some Paxton shirts for the game!!! Good luck to the tigers and the rams. They both will represent our district well. I graduated from Paxton University myself.....well, I will pretty soon, I hope...
  8. I'll bet you Hawkins and their # 27 RB hasn't been up against a run defense like Joaquins. I sure hope he's healthy and plays so when the games over we wont have to hear, "we would've could've if #27 was healthy and played" Them there fellaws from Joaquin like them boys to try and run over them.......
  9. you are right cayugasportsdad, and i will also add that all the people in Joaquin are not haters of Beckville, so, leave it alone people. This is about Cayuga and Beckville. My son ran against Shead in track and commented how nice and polite he was. Im proud for him and his family and Cayuga. However, since Beckville is in our district I have to wish good luck to them.
  10. Your right, I think Joaquin knows at this point in the schedule there is no gimme's. But you can rest assured that the boys in blue will bring their own version of tenderizing hawk meat!!! The "Bruise Brothers" will bring it to you Joaquin style....come on toothless, give us some more of your expert opinion before it runs down your leg.
  11. I'll take Tenaha's coaches over Alto's. Where you at Ol School? Come on talk to me!!!
  12. Does anyone have the Beckville/West Sabine score from this evening?
  13. Mr. Hughes was a good man and will be missed not only by his family, but by all his friends also.
  14. I agree with you sir, Tenaha did what hasn't been done much this year and that is run the football right at the Defense and move the ball. I saw some some good blocking call it strength, size, power, whatever they did what they had to do. Congrats Tigers on a good win. Maybe next year? If Joaquin can't get any pressure on the QB against Beckville, it could be a long nite. I wonder how blitzes work?
