Rabbs don’t overlook the players as of now. They’re still a very good and physical team without them. Jefferson jumped all over them early but we also had a lot of extra motivation bc of “talk” after the HS game! We gave’em what they asked for! Don’t underestimate them for sure.

Yea they did. Which he would’ve been the starter if it wasn’t for the new kids. But he couldn’t have thrown the ball any better. There were many times he would hit the receiver in stride right in the hands and they would drop it. I’ve never seen the starting Qb but imo this young man did a really good job. Jefferson just played with lots of motivation and jumped all over them early and never let up.

This is so true! I know I’ve made silly comments, but not towards the kids nor did I see anyone else. You are correct, the only person was one “aunt” that made claims, some of which raised more questions than put them to rest. I’m willing to guess that at some point in the game MV gets back into the slot T. That’s been their bread and butter for years and the MV kids already know that system.

I wonder if CalPreps has updated? Regardless, we may be underestimating MV now, which is kind of weird to be saying to a 6-0 team, but will another Qb be able to step up and be as effective? Will they jump into the slot T against us now? How is the morale in MV, maybe this gets them up even more? So many questions....almost don’t know what to expect now.

Well I’m not changing my vote, I’m still voting for Jefferson. I know others have made comments about changing theirs though. It doesn’t seem to let you change your vote. Maybe bc I’m using my phone but I don’t see that option. And purpletiger has been MIA since like Sunday I believe. Thanks

So...let’s hypothetically say that you were in the AD’s position. And the same scenario happened to you as MV’s current AD. Whether it was something you did or didn’t have knowledge of, but some things happened that weren’t good when you were coaching at a successful college program. Now fast forward to now, with all the scrutiny would you not make sure all the i’s were dotted and t’s crosses? No, in actuality it is on the Athletic Department to determine these things. There are actually current AD’s that make parents fill out a waiver that say you did not move for athletic purposes. This is a fact! But back to my point, would you not double or triple check every new player since you know everything you do will be looked at underneath a microscope?

Would you like your little Johnny having to take a backseat to an “possible “ in eligible transfer after years of hardwork and dedication to the program? It’s one thing getting beat out by a better player, but it’s a little different when said player shouldn’t even be allowed to play....atleast not here in Texas per UIL. Not being a smart a&& either, it’s a legit question.
