I didn’t realize their numbers were that low. Looked at their schedule from the last two seasons and they managed to win 8 games….more than us actually BUT our schedule was a wee bit more challenging.

We are definitely in rebuild mode. We do have everyone coming back except one starting lineman and our QB. Incoming freshmen are talented with good numbers who won district as 8th graders. 7th grade won district as well. They’re on the way; we just have to be patient.🤞🙌 I also think our numbers will be good enough to complete a JV season again. We should be back on track very soon.

The Alto program will be just fine. The kids competed hard in the situation they were in and with that behind them, look out. They are flush with athletes. Trust me.

We will be looking to fill some key shoes due to graduation, but the nucleus of a pretty good team is there .... I understand we are still looking to fill out the schedule due to only a 6 team district ....

Maybe y'all can find some 3a's to play ya.😂

Well, I ain't done. 🤣 I gotta say this! In these young men's memories, this particular night is something that will live on. This young man pictured will always be able to say he was the QB that lit em up. These certain friends, team and coaches will never forget the night they racked up this many yards passing on a powerhouse Mart. Heck, they will be telling their grandkids this story. it's awesome.

We went to the playoff game last year at SFA to watch this "stud" from Beckville and they never gave him the ball. When they did, he scored. Joaquin got the win.

They should have ran #2 more last night. I thought they gave away a play every series giving it to #32. Sure, he got a few yards, but was not a scoring threat. Teams that rely heavily on one player to win games have to rely heavily on one player to win games.

Happened to Carlisle a few years back when Gerald Turner was a Senior. There were several really good athletes on the team, but HE was so athletic that it was hard not to let him run wild and go score. I would have used him the same way, but in hindsight it was not what was best.  When they played Tenaha in Hallsville it became apparent that when the right defense and other good athletes keyed on him it killed the offense. I think they got some of their points on him returning kickoffs or punts that game. From the beginning of the game he was keyed on every play by two players. Once you get into stiffer competition you have to have other players and plays developed from the prior games to make the difference. Developing the rest of the offense is hard to do when he could almost score at will during district play. So, like KirtfFalcon said, it's a team sport.

I sure hope so because nobody had to guess too much last week. Looked like the week 1&2 playbook

Those two RB's were a load to bring down. If they get the blocking they will be hard to stop Friday. The trenches will win or lose this game for LL. Going with the Lions.

This year had a lot of growing pains for a young team and a young coach getting his first shot a being the boss.

Sometimes getting punched in the mouth is the best lesson a young man can learn experience wise, I wanna tell Coach sharp that I'm proud of his season, coming in late and trying to get his staff set and learn his kids and jell them and knowing that he is facing the schedule he had in front of him,a small d2 school playing up a complete classification every game to start the first half of the season, with all new line for the most part and losing players along the way.Im proud of you coach, you took every adversity straight on the chin and manned up,even when the unthinkable happened and they life flighted my son on a helicopter, you guided your team thru it,you were there for them, you kept them calm, you took time to kneel with me to pray for my son,and you spent the night at the hospital in Shreveport with us. Most young coaches won't see these things all in the same season, yet you got the full Monty and stood up to the test.I got your back sir, welcome to the Indian nation, sometimes it gets western over here, but we take care of our own,Now it's your turn to build your program, congrats to the seniors for finishing a well played career in high school and allowing us to watch you play on the greatest stage in the world, beneath the glorious FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS...CHAIN OUT ✌️

Well said boss. Wanted to say that your son stepped up as a leader his senior year. He should be proud of himself for what he contributed on and off the field. I was proud to see the Seniors give such an effort Thursday, and go out with their heads high. Hats off to the seniors for holding the team together for the young kids. They can take a positive into off season, and have another year to mature a bit.
