  1. Yes, need to play with enthusiasm. From the stands it don't look like a field leader has stepped up to keep the fire going on the field. Coaches can't be in the huddle so to speak.
  2. In my opinion, we should have won this game, but hats off to Mildred. They take the W.
  3. The Indians had two very productive drives in 2nd half and both drives im referring to the ball got snapped over QBs head and lost about 15 or 20 yards on both to stop the drives. We continue to shoot ourselves in the toe. Problem is, we are running out of toes.
  4. I'm camping on Richland Chambers lake, so I'm gonna try to scoot over there. If so, I will try to at least give y'all some score updates.
  5. I don't guess there is a chance there are any Mildred fans on Smoaky. There are other platforms where people chat up the game, but don't know where they would be. Anybody?
  6. From what I can tell from Hudl, Mildred seems to run the ball more than pass it.
  7. You are right. There are flashes of real good things, but cutting out the penelties would sustain drives. Last night those penelties and dropped passes , or errant passes cost us big. Fernie held the ball too long and our young lineman got holding calls on nearly every successful pass down field. We had several wide open receivers, but with the pass rush causing him to scramble he could not,or did not keep his eyes scanning the whole field. Physically we played hard. I think if they stick together and pick each other up, they will have the wrinkles worked out by the time we get through playing this 3a schedule.
  8. I just can't see Mildred having the kind of speed we've seen the last 2 weeks.
  9. I think we get back to our winning way this week. I said we had to run the guantlet through pre district play and we are doing just that.
  10. PS, I was looking for a heavier dose of the run by Carlisle. I think our #6 and #21 on each side of QB had the most success for us.
  11. What I meant by cheap is that we had no outside containment on either play you speak of. Our kids were out of position to keep outside while being blocked. If they turn those plays inside they don't go yard most likely. Arp most likely scores on those drives, but not that fast. Again, great game by Arp and I'm proud our guys didn't throw the towel in at 28 - 0.
  12. We shot ourselves in the foot too much to make it a close game. Still some work to do, but Carlisle is playing a tough schedule for small 2a. We will be fine I think.
  13. It was 42 to 19 last I now. Carlisle gave up two cheap tds early in the third.
