Maybe I received some misinformation, but I was under the impression that La Marque ISD was going to be closing its doors at the end of the current school year, yet I'm seeing job postings listed for many positions next year. Can anyone clear this up for me?

I'm from Carthage. I never saw Dwight Smith play, but I did see Kris Briggs play, and that guy was something special. I remember watching him and Ja'mar Toombs cover alot of grass in the old Carthage v Kilgore rivalry games.
