We still got some good athletes but we were loaded at almost every position last year. Duce, Fuller, and Rose are the standout players this year, imo. Driskell is coming along for only having 4 starts. Just a lot of new faces but they have filled in fine so far and playing good, we just had 3 very tough teams. I think we'll win by 14/17 against Pitt, as long as we don't have a meltdown. I don't think it'll be a blow out unless we come out really good in the first qtr like last week. Plus we play well against public 4A teams. Van was are first lose this year to a 4a team since we started playing 4a teams since 16' season. Other than Deion's team last year in which we hung in there until depth was an issue and the Dallas school we played this year beat Deion's team last year and they were good this year too. I doubt we'll lose because of athletes. If we do lose, it'll be due to miscues/mistakes. Coach D has figured out where this year team is now and has been changing stuff around each week to get them ready.

Going with the Tigers. What I have seen so far our Defense is going to be tough. If the Grandview QB has time to throw and they have the speed on the out sides it will be a close game . I think i will be a low scoring game though because it is early in the year and I think we will be able to control the clock with a number of good RB's and pretty good O line. But we will see.

I honestly do not see that happening but you never know.

Anyone can beat anyone on any given day and we are not taking MV lightly they made it this far for a reason. We just need to come out and make a statement early in this game and not rely on the 2nd half to get it done. I believe our coaching staff will have them ready for this one and the boys are hungry. Tiger Nation will be there loud and proud no matter what happens. Good luck to both teams and hope they stay injury free.

34? The most anyone has put up so far this season is 25 and some of that was in clean up time. You may be surprised by the speed of our D tonight. We are as good on D as we were last year if not a little better.
