Why are so many people so confident that Daingerfield will beat Hemphill so easily? Daingerfield struggles with offenses like the Hornets have especially with all the moving around and unbalanced things they do. Daingerfield isn’t the best on defense all the time either. So let the game play out you never know Hemphill May put it on them they have a couple good backs and a descent overall team.

Sounds like 2 mediocre teams playing to me.

I wouldn't bet on anything. You never know what will happen in Newton. They should get a good selection of candidates though I would think

Newton fears no one sir. You act like newton doesn’t have a tradition of winning games or something. We have been to 6 title games winning 4. Newton knows what it takes to win games.

2 close games??? You are sadly mistaken if you think those 2 games were close. Newton owned both those games from start to finish. WOS scored late in game to even get on the board they couldn’t sustain anything against Newton on a sloppy mud bowl field I may add. Also Newton was up 44 to 18 in 4th against Gilmer and Gilmer scored a few late TDs and Newton added another late score. You are mistaken if you think those were close games though. Also don’t forget we blew Silsbee out also which is also in the Regional finals in 4A Div II. Who has Daingerfield beat at all this year that Newton couldn’t dominate? Everytime you play a good team you lose. Don’t come at me with the Harmony #### they were overrated all season and not impressive. They are big and slow.

Well that’s not saying much at all considering who was in the district with Newton.

If you think close to or over 500 yards of offense and holding your opponent to 21 total yards is playing poorly then heck I’ll take that every week. Penalties and turnovers are apart of the game, it’s how you respond to them that make you a good or bad team.

Look Newton is straight home grown. No one is coming in and helping us win. These kids start in Pee Wee and play all the way up to HS is no move ins helping we rarely get a move in that can help us win. Straight home grown newton thick blood line.
