  1. the front 7 for Van will keep the Athens run game in check for the most part. Athens will break a few runs here and there, but overall Vans 1-2 punch on the run game with Aphonso Thomas and Matt Savis will be too much for Athens front 7. If Athens does break down on the run then they will also have to deal with the recievers of Van and their passing attack that doesnt have much speed but is always coached well and doesnt drop the ball much. IMO it will be close at half and then Van pulls away with a 42-21 win. Athens will make mistakes this game...
  2. NL is in for a rude awakening...even though Van hasnt had much competition..they havent struggled at all with anyone either. NL winning over lower classification teams that are weak makes their 4-0 schedule mean nothing to the Vandals. Moffatt never overlooks anyone and the Vandals will be ready to play. Just make sure NL respects Van because this one will be over by 3rd quarter. Prediction 52-13 Van just because backups will go in late third/early fourth quarters
  3. Canton...But wont be a blowout. Canton's QB and D-Lineman are good. But Canton can make a lot of mistakes. The team as a whole is overrated with an easy Non-District schedule so far. Going to be a rude awakening when they match up with Gilmer and Bullard in district play.
  4. Van takes this one...could get ugly before halftime. Pretty much taking this game and Paris North Lamar to get ready for district play
