State semis and state finalists in a 3 yr stretch is decent for a team that was 1-19 before Driskell got there. Tatums go-to move, compare their past success. Thought you would banter with me a little linger before you brought that out. You should go check your always. I bet there’s an elem kid that needs their shoes tied.

I heard that statement 2 yrs ago as well. Always freshmen and sophs in Tatum.

G’View was 100% healthy when they played Pottsboro. Lol

Not just Potts, but Gladewater, Malakoff, and a few more. Also, Potts brings back as many impact players as G’View. Grandviews 3 LBs that are graduating accounted for what % of their total tackles? Good luck replacing that l.

They won’t be a pushover in region 3, but will get destroyed in the state title game. Region 2 or Brock will win the title this year. Done deal.

It’ll be interesting to see how G’View handles a Dallas Madison, Jefferson, Tatum type of team with their speed. They haven’t seen that in region 3 the past couple of years. Yes EC, but that’s one team and both times, there were other elements involved that levelled the playing field.

Considering Pottsboro played G’View closer than anyone in region 3, and Pottsboro playing 2 other region 2 teams down to last play of game... I’d like to think there’s a little more to region 2 than you think.

Not even going to comment on district 15, I wonder what Dave’s criteria was that he used?

Pretty funny order they got going there. Dist 11 has 2 teams that made it past 1st round. Dist 12 is mostly from region 4 and also had 2 teams that played each other for regional final of region 4. Dist 6 is tougher than 11 and 12, but 5, 7, and 8 are tougher than all 3. After all, 1 team out of dist 6 made it past the 2nd round and over half the district didn’t make the playoffs.

Just make sure you stay positive posting about Malakoff kids and the people that help out with the program.

Im not, Sabine doesn’t have many weapons. They are coached well and run a very small number of plays really good without much star talent. Once you start playing the better teams with other kids that are either super talented or coaches really well, show’s over.

I dig this post. 2 years in a row, visitors think they’re going to storm Jack Murphy’s field and nope! Don’t cry BC, maybe once in the next 20 years y’all will have another chance.
