I think there was some kind of new evidence that turned up for the DEC to bring this back into the forefront and re-vote. Had to be! I don't see any way they would re-do this vote on a notion or an accusation. Someone pleaded a case and had good, solid evidence behind it to make it stick. SURELY, superintendents didn't vote these boys ineligible without doing their research. I think I'm more interested in this "volunteer coaching gig" guy than the players. Briles is a figure head with his former players. He attracts them. Any of those guys that want to get into football will flock to his side if they can swing it financially. I'm curious to know Briles' knowledge level and involvement in this ordeal. Starting to sound a lot like his gig at Baylor. No, he wasn't convicted, but how much did he know? Personally I saw receivers drop 3 balls down the field? 1 in the end zone. Another down the field ball and the corner was on the upfield side of receiver and cut his path off.

Still waiting on what #’s didn’t “play.” Your story has changed from first half to first 3 possessions now. It’s irrelevant now, but I feel as if you’re taking away from the great game that it was and implying that Grandview didn’t do everything in their power to win the game.

Bunch of teams had freshmen and sophomores playing on varsity. In fact, the 2 teams in the state championships were full of sophomores starting on both sides of the ball. Kick rocks with those tears.
