This is the Winona/Harmony thread. Lets complain about who does and doesnt play for LO on our own thread. BTW, LO beat Winona 33-14. It was 27-0 until the backups came in.

I have picked against MV several times this year and been wrong every time. I'm going with MV this time. They have made me a believer.

As long as LO doesnt overlook Como they should handle them. Its Como's Sr. night and they will give it everything they have.

I will shuffle my order based on the results from this past Friday. My current Top in 3A II Region 2 1. Gunter 2. Hooks 3. DF 4. Leonard 5. Henrietta

I think Harmony wins here. Winona certainly has the players to make it a game but something is missing.

EW is pretty dang good and may very well deserve to be there. My opinion is that EW isn't as good as those teams. They may prove me wrong but that's kinda the fun in making these predictions. I also see Leonard coming in very close to that top 5.

Head to head obviously is a big one and I cant argue anyone saying Hooks should be higher than DF but if they played tomorrow, id pick DF. Max Preps? lol. Max Preps has Newton (Great 3a Team) ranked 40 spots higher than 6a Rockwall. Gimme a break with Max Preps.

Commerce and EW were both very athletic passing teams. Both of their passing games were completely held in check by LO's D so not sure what you are talking about.

I'm not real familiar with District 5. I wasn't sure how good those teams are. Thought about Henrietta. Is Holliday better?

I agree Jett. As i said earlier, anyone who sleeps on Winona may be real sorry. By far the most athletic team in the district.

I wouldn't call it spread but more spread than Harmony. They don't throw very much, I can say that.

Any Alba fans calling for an upset here?

I havnt seen Harmony or Winona but I would agree that EW and Harmony should be considered the top 2. I just disagree that the gap between 1, 2, 3, 4 is as big as you think. EW did have 2 TD's that I remember called back. The refs didn't keep LO in the game, EW commited fouls that erased TD's. If I remember correctly, EW scored on both of those drives anyway.

How are Coopers sub varsity teams doing? I know last year they were extremely young. Doesn't help that they are one of the smallest 3A's in TX
