  1. Yes. This the first time for Quinlan Ford to make it to the Regional Semis. Quinlan's defense played a great game today. LB Roden is a Beast and should get some D1 offers. Quinlan lost two lineman to injury in the first Quarter and it really hurt them. QF lost 3 fumbles on the Center-QB exchange and had others they recovered. Congratulations to PG for a hard fought victory. I was really impressed by the PG defense and how physical and fast they played today.
  2. http://www.calpreps.com/cgi-bin/2021/weekview.pl?week=Texas_13 Projections for every week of the playoffs. Scroll down to this week.
  3. QF can pass when they need too. They mixed the pass and run to score in a little over one minute at the end of the first half versus Pitt. Running game is a multi-dimensional with 4 positions as options to get the ball. I don't see PG holding Quinlan under 5 Tds. QF 35 PG 31
  4. I believe the QB is still wearing a cast. They went with the Freshman QB versus Glen Rose. I'm expecting another close game also, possibly in the 30's-40's for both teams.
  5. Pitt D was very physical holding Quinlan to only 335 yards Rushing. Quinlan threw for 36 yards all in the first half, nearly all while running a 2 minute drill to score right before halftime.
  6. Yes. But it wasn't last 4th down. Quinlan's last 4th down they scored on a toss sweep to the right from the Pitt 29 on 4th and 1 with under 2 minutes left. On Quinlan's previous drive they tried to run a dive on 4th and 1 just inside Pitt territory and #32 Roden got tackled in the backfield.
  7. They tried the XP. Bad snap and the holder got tackled trying to make a throw.

  9. After these two Van and Aubrey are the only other teams with a +40 rating by Calpreps. Cuero is 9th at 39, Wimberley 10th at 37.4. Glen Rose, Jasper, Quinlan, PG, Rusk are 11-15 and are rated between 32.9 and 30.7. Everyone else is below 30.
  10. Roden is one of the 300 finalist for the 2021 Dave Campbell's Super Team. He is the ballot at RB and LB. Bates does look talented though. Should be a good game. https://www.texasfootball.com/article/2021/11/15/dave-campbell-s-texas-football-and-whataburger-team-up-to-unveil-the-2021-whataburger-super-team-ballot?ref=home_feature_article
  11. Game is Friday Night in Sulphur Springs. I've seen 7 pm and 7:30 as the start time. Pittsburg home side, Quinlan Visitors. Tickets only online.
  12. Region 2- Glen Rose and Van only teams left from Districts 5 and 7. District 6 has Quinlan, Sunnyvale, and Caddo left. District 8 has Gilmer, PG, and Pitt still in.
  13. Pitt had 46 carries for 420 yards(9.1), 6 Tds vs Brownsboro. While Quinlan had 49 carries for 586 yards(12.0), 7 Tds vs Godley. Pitt was 3-6 passing for 126 yards, 2 Tds, while Quinlan was 0-1 with an INT. Quinlan has passed for more yards than Pitt on the season but didn't need to pass vs Godley. Pittsburg won the turnover battle 2-1, while Quinlan lost it 1-3. Quinlan has only 7 combined lost Fumbles and INTs thrown all year and 3 of those were vs Godley. Pitt doesn't have a LB better than Roden(6'0 210 4.6 40) 122 Tackles(68 solo, 9 TFL).
  14. Pitt's defense is good but not good enough to slow down the Panther offense. Pitts offense not good enough to outscore Quinlan in a Shutout. Quinlan wins 42-30.
  15. If this what you truly believe than you are in for a big surprise Friday Night. It might be a close game but I see Quinlan winning and no way they lose by 3 or more Tds.
  16. Quinlan Ford Sr. RB/LB Kaiden Roden, 21 carries for 238 yards and 3 Tds( 54, 46, and 15 yards), 3 pancake blocks, 1 2pt conversion; 18 Tackles(8 solo). In 49-23 win over Godley.
  17. I think Brownsboro would maybe beat Spring Hill, but lose to LE. Sunnyvale beat Brownsboro 49-14, and Brownsboro only beat Bullard 33-28.
