Exactly right. Kurt was a huge loss and the O-line coaches need to go. They are terrible. Turner went with two poor QB's rotating them every two series this season. If the JV QB is not the starting QB next year it lets you know all you should already know about Turner. We loose on Friday and this terrible season is over, thank god.

I agree, 100% is not on them. Only about 99% of it, according to current players, current reviews, and current results. Nothing will change until Turner is gone and the staff is overhauled.

Nope. I don't agree with most of what he is posting, but that statement is wrong. We were the smallest "old" 4A in the late 90's for 2 years. Got beat like dogs. When realignment came, we dropped back down to 3A a year or two before Traylor came to Gilmer. That being said, I hate to say it, but we will loose this Friday and it probably won't even be close. Center, Gladewater, and Tatum would all beat us this year and next year and the year after that until we get a new head coach and staff. Oh yeah, Gladewater, y`all did duck us again this year. Glad you did because y`all would have beat the tar out of us this year and next.

Took LE a little longer than I expected to get going, but they won like I expected and were the much better team. Gilmer is a joke under Turner. Look for more of the same next week against Sunnyvale and unfortunately, we will get more of the same next season. Smallest crowd at this stadium in over 20 years for this game. Pathetic.

The Traylor era Gilmer did not lose at home. This will be the third home loss this season, and should be the fourth loss if Van had not given us a win in week 2. LE has been right on top of Gilmer since 2015. We got away with one last year. LE wins easily on Friday in Gilmer. Oh yeah, I would trade every win against LE since 2006 for a victory against them in the playoffs that year. That was the state championship game and LE put it on us and went on and won state, just like we would have done if we would have won that game.

Correction, Gilmer HAD the better coaching. No longer the case. LE coaching has cost them over the past 5 or 6 years, but the decline in Gilmer since 2014 is astonishing. Gilmer has the worst staff in the district. LE wins this game easily. Gilmer varsity didn't even practice last Wednesday due to a little weather and ended practice early Monday and Tuesday. It's over in Gilmer until a complete overhaul is done on the coaching. Expect a loss to LE and a first round blowout loss to who ever we play.

Heard that Kurt did not want the Gilmer job. Did now want to follow Jeff and be the "other" Traylor. Don't know if that is true or not, but don't blame him if it is. With regard to Turner, rumor was that he did not want to be head coach and wanted to stay in the booth calling plays. He only took the job after a lot of pressure. Turner is a good man, but not a head coach. He has to go. Short practices with no contact has turned the Buckeyes into a joke, and that is on Turner. We have not been this bad since Doug Busch was head coach in the 90's.

Ever see a Gilmer game during the Traylor era? He took a lot of criticism on this board and in the media for his on field antics.

I didn't take offense to anything the Pitt players or coaches did. I wish our lame and uninspired coaches would show some energy and excitement like the Pitt coaches did. Good for them for getting into the game and getting their players not only far more prepared than Gilmer, but having a darn good time while doing it. After we lose to LE in two weeks, let the blood bath begin with the Gilmer coaching staff.

Good game Pitt. Y`all were no doubt the better team and your coaches were vastly superior to Gilmer`s. Jimerson is a heck of a player. Hope y`all have a nice run in the playoffs and have fun watching him do his thing. In a year of pathetic performances by Gilmer, this just might be the most pathetic of them all. You could tell from Gilmer's body language before kickoff that we were going to get blasted. Changes have to be made when the season is done. These coaches have lost the players and run this program into the ground. The whole staff must be reevaluated at the end of the season with special scrutiny given to the O-line coaches. Has anyone ever heard of a team at any level alternating 2 QB's every two series for the entire season? Good luck the rest of the way PG. Hate to say it, PG wins by as much as they want. We had not lost 3 straight games since the late 90's. We are about to lose 3 more straight games in the same season. Paris, Carthage, and Newton, followed by PG, Pitt, and LE. Time for an over-haul of the coaching staff in Gilmer. Just getting by a terrible Spring Hill team is pathetic.

Don't know who you are talking about, so I am going to guess. Probably the line coach from last year that got demoted this year to assistant o-line coach. Gilmer 0-line is a joke, just like the rest of the coaching staff.

Thanks. Were you at that game? Me and my family went to one of the playoff games since Gilmer was done for the season. I was too young to remember much, but I remember it being loud on the Daingerfield side of the stands.
