When players transfer to these dchools - obviously for sports-specific reasons - are they immediately eligible? Because - and I don't know about public schools in other states - having to sit out a year is a deterrent here in Texas. And no, it is NOT that easy for ANY Texas HS athlete to just transfer to another school, especially not simply to play for a "better" program. Not to mention, God forbid, we should get into an actual discussion of the ethics of this topic...

As Yoe is into playing 4A teams in pre-district, couple of us in Cameron would like to see a Hwy 77 home-&-away w/ Cuero.

Money says t.u. is recruiting Brewer A: To keep him out of competition's jerseys and B: Because they don't trust Ehlinger to stay uninjured. If I was Ehlinger, I'd pull a "Chad President" and tell 'horns to bug off.

Said this before, I'll say it again: The title games should still be split up/rotated so that small-division teams can play on Fi/Sat and more of their fans can make it to the games, UIL and Fox Sports SW be damned. And no, most of them wouldn't care if the games were being played in a WalMart parking lot, long as they got the opportunity to see their boys play in a title game.

Yoe OVERACHIEVED this season. Lost our HC, starting QB, star DL, and the 3A Player of the Year, amongst other changes. Malakoff is a top-flight program, but either Teague had a particularly bad night against us, or we had a particularly good night, considering that score shoulda been 37-6. Took a step back against Malakoff, and we paid for it...

Moot point Any team that holds Brock to 17 points is just waiting to beat you anyway...

DKR is dump compared to Kyle Field and McLane Stadium. t.u. spending all its $ trying to find a winning coach. Besides, I don't know why that guy was bad-mouthing Aggie girls - Probably really wanted to go to Austin for Oilcan Harry's.

Thanks, Woodbille fans, for providing inspiration for our pep rally Fri afternoon! When you don't HAVE tradition, you don't understand what it means to a program that does. But maybe you at least understand a little WHY we have it...

Heeeerrre's your sign: Teague coach already showed the "Fear" card by publicly proclaiming before a ball was even kicked Fri night that he had no intention of facing Yoe in Waco again. If he has so little qualm about displaying such a lack of confidence in his team... ;^)
