I think you will see the Bears mix up the play calling even more this year. It will still be a run first team but will surprise a lot of teams with their ability to throw the ball. There will be a TON of sophomores starting and the rest of the core group will still only be juniors. The defense will need a little time to gel since there’s a lot of new faces but I think overall you’ll see a better DL and faster team defense. Should be a fun group of kids to watch grow.

I agree with the sentiment that they need to show the hype is real. I do expect them to have a good season. Between the kids they have returning and a very solid JV team they are setup to be successful. Now they just have to go do it. I still think they are a playoff team and if they aren’t it just goes to show how tough this district is.

If he’s wrong about his age I hope it wasn’t his dad Wish the best for the kid and I guess we will all know next season when he either is or isn’t on the field. Good luck this week.

Hey we beat them last year so I don’t think anyone is writing that game off but at the same time it will be a tall task for any team this season.

Pleasant Grove game will be a tough one. They will probably win state in 4AD2.

Look you guys have a solid team but if you think the players missing wouldn’t have made a difference you have the rose colored glasses on. When you take starting players on defense and move them to offense it takes away from the defense. The obvious player missing was Carter but the number 1 receiver that caught 7 passes in the last scrimmage was also out. Not taking anything away from Dfield but to call the defense a soft spot based on what you saw in one scrimmage is a little premature. Good luck to you guys this season. I hope you win state and I hope we can show a little more than you saw last night in the scrimmage. Sure wish we played a game that mattered this season. Would be a good one !
