We welcome the competition. We’ve been down the last few years ourselves but we had a really young team this past season and look for better days ahead. No one is scared of a team dropping from 4a I think all but a few teams in this district came from there

I think y’all are in for an eye opening you forget that it wasn’t long ago that we were going 4 rounds deep in 4A. The talent gap between 3AD1 and 4AD2 isn’t that wide. Sure there isn’t a PG or Gilmer but if you are expecting to run through teams in 3AD1 you’ll be disappointed.

Nah we should prolly just give LE the one seed and move them to the bidistrict round. We can all play for 2nd. There’s no sense in letting them risk injury since they are a state caliber team and all.

The offense started to come around during district when we found a few formations that had success. What I’d like to see this season is that we run the same offense in preseason as we intend to run in district. The last few years it has been night and day different. I get having wrinkles for district that aren’t on film but to go from running completely different offenses in preseason and district has to be difficult for the kids to get into a rhythm.

Yeah we usually schedule 2 state champs and 3 teams above our division. With a fairly young team I’m not totally opposed to this approach. There’s still some quality teams but nothing the likes of Malakoff and Gunter.

I expect Koff to play for it all again next year. They will no doubt be the favorite in my mind. Losing Hogg will hurt on both sides of the ball but with their RBs coming back and Mike Jones at QB they will just need to fill in where they lose seniors. Koff had a solid JV team and I’m sure they have the kids to find the replacements. Congrats to Koff for getting over the hump and winning the ship!
