I was surprised he didn't go to Texas out of HS. When Lawson announced he was coming back at Bama Kendrick hit the portal. He didn't feel like he would see much playing time at ILB at Bama. I think he's going to be a good one it's just the LB room at Bama is full.

Honestly, not super familiar with him or his recruitment out of high school. I know OU was in the mix but not sure about now.Β

A lot of inexperienced talent in the WR room from recruiting had me optimistic, but still felt that group would be the biggest ? going into next season.

Now, Worthy, Mitchell, and Whittington will be replaced by Cook, Bond, and Golden, with Moore, Niblett, and Wingo all likely to get reps as well. I now feel confident that the WR group will not miss a beat.Β

Now the biggest ? shifts to the interior DL.Β

Next season is shaping up to have more potential than this season did.Β

Interior DLine is my only concern at the moment.

QB is in year 3, returning the OL and both backs. WR room won’t skip a beat.Β

With Barron coming back, I feel much better about the secondary. Only questions remain are interior DL and who will be LB with Hill.

We’ll see, the biggest questions for him are recruiting. He’s also never been in the south/southeast, the game is much different down here.

Right now Bama recruits itself but if he has a couple down years or he fails to find a Qb/wr that can mimic what he had at Washington to make his offense go, things could get tricky.

Deboer is a really good offensive mind but we haven’t seen him do it with any Qb other than Penix. Some Bama are going to leave town regardless of who they hired, so we’re going to get to see real quick how he is as a roster manager. At Washington he had 9 sixth year players this season, he’s going to have to build it at Alabama.Β

He also hasn’t been anywhere for more than 2 years. It’s going to be interesting to see.

The Washington guy would have ended up at Texas if Bama hired Sark imo. This is the year we really see what Sark is made of. He loses so much and plays a tougher schedule that he’s had. If he wins 10+ this year I’ll be sold on him, but I’m expecting more like 7 or 8 with the amount of production he’s lost.Β

He doesn’t lose that much, tbh.Β

If anything, I think Texas is better next year than this past year.
