I'm sure it's not an easy decision. I would imagine he would be about a 4th or 5th rounder. That's not necessarily clear cut. This might be an unpopular take but I'm a huge proponent of players not declaring early. I don't blame him at all. I think he will find his draft stock rise next year (hopefully no injuries for him), but I truly don't see the point of leaving early, like at all. Especially nowadays with NIL. Get that extra year of experience and tape. It doesn't hurt you in the slightest. Now if you're in your 6th year in college like some of the dudes (Nix, Gabriel, Hartman), staying too long means that you're pretty much done after college ball.

Michigan is losing a lot next year. Their only positive is JJ McCarthy will be back. Outside of that you’ll see a lot of fresh faces for the Wolverines.

I hate seeing guys leave, but man is it encouraging to some extent that a majority of talent leaving is because there's A LOT of talent in front of them. It's not from a bad culture, major coaching changes, etc. That's a good problem to have.

I saw a prediction him going to Auburn, but could be wrong. I suspect Murphy is going to hit the portal. I'd look at him going to OSU, Miss St, or Auburn. Depending on what other dominoes fall.
