I canβt say Iβm shocked. I heard he had a really close relationship with Syracuseβs coach that he valued above everything. Good for him, but a big loss. -

I assume there will be a few players leave because of this. How do yβall feel about him leaving? -
They most likely will be. Not only because of how theyβve recruited, but rumors are already swirling about some big splashes coming through the portal.

Official 2023-24 NCAA Football Championship Thread

I agree with this. Going into yesterday, Texas needed Florida State to lose (assuming Georgia would beat Alabama). Once Alabama beat Georgia, Texas was in. Whether it was at #3 or #4. It was then coming down to FSU and Alabama once Florida State won. -
If Quinn comes back, Iβd imagine you are looking at a preseason top 2 ranking. That will help too.

Sark said the same thing. Iβm sure heβs taking that plan from Saban. -

Good thing we have Penix Jr. on tape from last years bowl game. Revenge tour is not quite done. -
Revenge tour complete.

In other words, it has nothing to do with UT (at least I believe it doesn't), but it doesn't matter. They aren't going to be able to justify this to the masses. It's too late.

Apparently it's been a prank this year between two frats at OSU leaving dead critters on the others front lawn. The steer belonged to one of the frat members grandparents ranch that they found dead in the pasture. The kid got his buddies to haul it to the other frat house. It's "convenient" that it just so happens to be 24 hours before they play Texas.

We knew it was going to happen. That's not the issue. The issue is how blatantly obvious it has been. The comments from the Commissioner and his staff, the ridiculous discrepancies in penalties, and if you watch the games, the clear negative impact the officials have on any Texas (and OU for that matter) game. That's what insane to me. I knew that we wouldn't get calls our way here and there and that some teams will be vocal about hating us, but this year has been on another level of sabotage. They were successful with sabotaging OU, but Texas has escaped so far. Saturday will be the final test.

But apparently it's the worst Bama team under Saban. -

It's so pivotal in a program. It's not just about strength, but injury prevention, nutrition, and what I think the most important is, mental toughness. Having a good S&C department contributes to a lot of the success programs have. I mean, look at what Cochran built at Alabama and now Georgia. -
Yeah he's been pretty open about that being home to him. I would imagine that would be the job he takes before he rides off into the sunset. Lord knows financially he could retire today.

Jimbo is waiting for WVU to open up I'm sure.

Every fan base has a group that totally sucks (and the common denominator more times than not is alcohol), but for the most part are good sports. In Tuscaloosa this year, I had an overall good experience when it came to conversing with Bama fans. Other than getting cussed out in the Jersey Mikes line trying to order my sandwich by frat kids who had slept in the backyard the night prior, it was fun.
