  1. I'm not sure where you are getting your info, but I am a Bremond coach and that DID NOT happen. Yes y'all called for a game, no we did not want to play y'all. Bremond playing Franklin would be the equivalent of Franklin playing Aledo. There was no "trash talk" about the Franklin program. Our head coach spent 6 years there and is still good friends with some of the staff.
  2. Nope they didn't. Tenaha's defense lived up to the hype, but it was the Bremond defense that dominated the game. Looks like the streak continues for another week.
  3. They do that to protect their starters from injury once the game is out of reach and because they don't believe in running the score up on people.
  4. If we are comparing stats then you need to go back and look at what Bremond has done in the first half of their games. Their starters haven't played much after half so most of their points have been scored in one half of a game and most of the points given up have been on their JV defense.
  5. Don't worry...Bremond doesn't look past anyone!
  6. His mother is from Marlin, but Roshauud has been at school in Bremond since the 2nd grade. He is not a transfer student. He lives in Bremond.
  7. Due to lack of field availability and both teams wanting to play on Friday, they flipped home and home. Overton won. We loved playing at SFA when we lost the flip to Teneha 2 years ago, and the travel is still cut in half compared to what we had in region 4. Plus UIL rules state that if you flip home and home and lose, the next time the 2 teams play, you get home field so it usually evens out.
  8. Most of those points Bremond's defense has given up are in the 2nd half when the subs are in. The starters haven't played after the first series of the 2nd half in almost every game.
  9. Bremond has not lost a game since 2013 either. 42-1 over the last 3 years, 30 straight
  10. We drug test in Bremond. Very rarely do we have any kids fail, but last football season we lost 3 starters. It caused somewhat of a controversy in town with some community members thinking our punishment (6 weeks suspension for first offense) was too harsh and it was going to cost us a state championship. The administration and coaches stood firm, moved on without them and won state anyway. As a parent, I personally feel like if a player knows that is the policy and chooses not to follow it, then they don't care enough about the team to be on it.
