Well with success comes changes. Im curious to see if we keep the staff together and who moves on or if anyone does. I hope that if tatum or some other big school comes calling that it happens quick because other members of thos coaching staff on this team deserve the opportunity to fill that spot if it comes open--- cough 22.

It was a tough district.

The championship drive is what impressed me the most. 6 point lead 4:30 sec left in the game and we force a punt. Ball on our 1 yard line and 99 yards to a win. We sealed the game by making a championship drive for 99 yards and a td. Game, set , match. Kinda like if you really are deserving of being the champs then show us what you got. We faced some talented teams. Every team we faced played us hard and not one of them rolled over. Enjoyed the season and the entertainment on here. Im out- duces.

All waskoms key players are ready but we do have 2 off lineman banged up pretty good.

I talked to a kid from last years team. He said its all just a football game until you walk through the tunnel an you keep looking up trying to see the roof then all the fans etc. he said that is when it hits you and you get nervous. So i hope that with waskom having been there last year that it helps us get off to a fast start.

Only thing i disagree with is the sloppy play made it close. Naw-- idalou being a dang good football team made it close and made it where we had no room for error. Saying it that way takes away from idalous performance. Those guys made us look that way because they showed up to win.

. Maybe so jj but we are 1 of 2 teams left standing. Theres no shame in that. Quit being a butt hurt cry baby. We beat arp not once but twice. If arp was moving on waskom would be in arps corner cheering for one of our district 8 teams. It makes you look like a pouting 2 year old who didnt get their way.

Im physically exhausted. My hats off to idalou. You guys are an excellent team and played with class.

Say whatever you want at the end of the day waskom played wr for 8 quarters of football for a grand total of 97- 28. Those refs threw about a 150 flags on waskom the first half and ur still belly aching that its should have been a 153 flags against waskom would have made the difference. After 2 games 40-0 & 57-28. The better team won. Period. Not bad for a team picked to finish 3 or 4 th in district.

Whats not a dream is that EF has been playing basketball for nearly a month!!!! Hows that working out for you? You figured out how to dribble behind your back yet?? it should be easy since you guys start practing a month and a half earlier then anyone else the past 3 years. Lol

He aint telling a lie. Our offense the past two weeks has been a one man show and if that one man didnt come back into the game against Arp then we dont win that one. No need in calling him names when he is speaking the truth because our sweeps and passing game has basically been shut down. If its not for Amie breaking tackles up the middle, off tackle and in beast mode then we prob dont even make it past Gunter. We have to find some production in other areas or we will be playing basketball pretty soon.

Your right. Our offense has hung the defense out to dry since we started playing these playoffs. Consistently are putting them in bad situations and field position

Gunter showed the key to stopping waskoms offense-- committ about 3 defenders to the pitch man and force the qb to beat you. Arp followed that tonight. In back to back weeks our offensive output is all on Amie and what he can get by himself up the middle. We are gonna have to find a spark on offense. We need some of our old trick plays back in the playbook to keep the defenses thinking, some offensive production from someone besides Amie to balance our offense out or we will be playing basketball sooner then we want to.
