  1. Pudge Griffey Rusty Greer Mickey Tettleton for his batting stance and that huge chaw he always had in...it killed me every time I saw him.
  2. If the Mavs are serious about winning a championship, they won't let the emotional and physical drain of two hardfought series slow them down assuming they have to face both the Suns and Spurs on the way to the Finals. All these regular season games mean nothing but homecourt advantage (which is pretty significant), but you still have to go out and play the games. BTW I heard a stat that the Mavs could lose the rest of their games and still have a spot in the playoffs!! :notworthy:
  3. I don't see how you could even think of signing Joey Porter. He's almost an exact replica of T.O. except he doesn't play offense, so he can't demand the ball. He's just a loudmouth that causes a bunch of trouble. He seems like a liability to me. Cowboys don't need two T.O.s on the same team IMO. Leonard Davis is a good addition. The Cowboys can always use good help on the line especially help that is 366 lbs!!
  4. If the Aggies make it to the final four, it'll be by the guts and clutchness of Acie Law. He was AMAZING!! and yet the Horns still won....That was such a great game. Is is me or have the Horns been involved in the two greatest games of the 06-07 season?? first the OK State loss in 3OT, now the A&M win in 2OT im speechless

    Oh Happy Day!

Well do you want your son cryin like a little baby when he gets hurt?? I don't think so. D-Wade flops around like a fish out of water every time he hits the deck even if he's not hurt. Usually he's out on the court 5 seconds later after he rolled around in pain acting like there's nothing wrong. I bet he comes back next week. He's just lookin for attention. That was one of the funniest things I've seen in a while: Wade crying on the bench b/c of a separated shoulder. He was even wheeled out on a wheelchair. Can I ask WHY?? He separated his shoulder! He didn't break his leg in half! IMO D-Wade is just a little pansy who just wants attention and i hate that b/c he's such an amazing player. BTW Dallas wins by 20+ points tonight.
  6. You can't deny that Wade is a great player. You CAN, however, accept the fact that he is a complete joke. He reminds me of Kobe Bryant so much with all of his floppin around when he gets fouled and actin like he's seriously injured. I guess the Mavs have no room to talk though, because they OBVIOUSLY lost the series fair and square to the Heat. I mean, D-Wade was the whole reason they won that series (except for those 3 or 4 men who were dressed in black and white striped shirts)
  7. I saw Darrell Arthur and Kevin Rogers playin for SOC when Arthur was a junior and Rogers was a senior. In the state championship game, they were throwing ups to each other- from one block to the other. They must have combined for 12 or 14 dunks that game.
  8. I'm still in disbelief about J-Ho not makin the All-Star roster...its just not right.
  9. I'm excited to see how Mack is going to use John Chiles...this guy could play any number of positions. by the way, amazing move by Mack to still give Nader that scholarship. Now that's the kind of man that I would want to play for.
  10. Thanks LF, anyway, back to Durant: In the case of VY leaving, he only decided to leave after he had won the National Championship. No offense, but Texas is just not good enough to win the championship this year, no matter how good Kevin is. It's just gonna come down to how much he really cares about his teammates. I'm sure theres something in the back of his mind tellin him that if he left, he would be leaving DJ, AJ, Justin, Damion, Dex, Connor, and the rest of the guys out to dry next year. Not saying that they won't be good, but Kevin is this team's leader. Money sure is tempting though...
  11. If you're a high school basketball fan, then you might want to sneak on over to WO to see this one. Emotions are going to be running very high, especially for the WO kids. Now that Spring Hill knows they can beat WO in district, I believe they'll come out a little cocky. Overall, the deciding factor in this game is going to be who has the most heart. The team that is willing to play as hard as they possibly can for 4 quarters is going to take it. I'd look for WO to win this one by a close margin. It's senior night, the seniors' last home game, and their last game against SH. WO is going to be playing with probably more emotion in this game than they've ever played before. I'm gonna go with the Necks
  12. All I've heard for the last 2 or 3 weeks is how great it would be to have 2 black coaches coaching in the Super Bowl. I'm wondering to myself: Why would this make a huge impact? Why do I hear people saying stuff about the NCAA being "extremely far behind" in the hiring of black coaches because there's only seven out of 119 teams? I mean, we're all people right? Why should it even matter what color you're head coach is? Does it really make that much difference? And why is it such an accomplishment to have two black coaches coaching in the SB?? You may not agree, but I just think the media has blown this "2 black coaches in the SB" thing into a much larger thing than it actually is. IMO there are two very good coaches coaching in the Super Bowl. What difference does it make that they're black or not? What do you guys think?
  13. Boytroy I'm tired of that excuse of breaking his nonshooting hand. I broke my nonshooting hand sophomore year in HS and I didn't have barely any trouble adjusting...and I was one of our best shooters! All Oden has to do is dunk the ball. What kind of skill does that take? IMO not much at all. I've seen Oden even look sometimes like he doesn't know what to do when he gets the ball in the paint.
  14. 37 pts. and 23 boards tonight against Tech for Durant. I've heard many people say that Greg Oden is one of the best players in the country, comparing him with Kevin Durant. If tonight's game has anything to say, I'm pretty sure it says there's nobody playing at a higher level right now in college basketball than Kevin Durant.
  15. I bet you'd get worked by him in basketball though, no doubt in my mind:thumbsup: Well why don't you give him a call for me to set up a game of one-on-one. I'll take Brodie Greene to school, just say the word!
  16. What a beatdown! I think Sabine got down 15-0 to start the game and it kept going downhill from there...
  17. you can't ignore the fact that Spring Hill hasn't beaten White Oak in district in several years. I can't even remember when. This fact alone means that it's going to be a great game, Spring Hill may lead most of the game, but when it comes down to it, the Necks will pull out the victory just like they've done time and time again.
  18. That safety from Notre Dame is not really a good cover safety. The Cowboys need to get a safety that can cover his and Roy Williams ground at the same time. We don't need to get another guy that's just gonna get burned deep every other play.
  19. BigStick, Brodie Greene wouldn't last 5 minutes in big 12 basketball. Sure he's a great 3A basketball player, but he would get worked in the big 12, no doubt in my mind.:bounce:
  20. Why did you even say that?? totally pointless.
