Good job Lady Raiders!! Great basketball by both teams!

Let me help you with some of your spelling. It's Alba-Golden vs Winnsboro and Pottsboro vs Mt. Vernon. I've heard that Winnsboro and Alba will play at 6:00 followed by the Mt. Vernon game at 8:00 at Rockwall Heath. I'm looking forward to watching some good basketball this weekend.

If #3 and #13 had the flu, then why did #12 not play more?? MPCH scored 5 or 6 points in a row every time she came into the game. Hate that some of the girls had the flu, but regardless the Lady Raiders won! I was impressed by the start of the game, haven't seen them do that all year. On to the next one!

Winnsboro vs. Elysian Fields. Game will be played Friday night at 6:30 p.m. in Hughes Springs. Haven't heard too much about Elysian Fields. Lady Raiders will need to start off games like they finish to keep winning.

Winnsboro rolls this week. 42-20 is my prediction.

Pewitt in a close one. Anyone remember the Jefferson @ Pewitt game that ended on a 35 yard field goal? That was a great game. I expect this game to be close just like that one.

Good luck to the Raiders tonight! It's going to be a hard-fought battle out there. West Rusk will be a great matchup and pre-district game. I'm excited to see some of the young Raiders play some of their first varsity action!

Great season Red Raiders. Battled through injuries and adversity all season. Great job tonight by White Oak. I was impressed with the offense and ability to make blocks across the field. Good luck in in the rest of y'all's playoff season.

Winnsboro wins by 2, only if the QB runs the ball. Maybe they've been holding him out for the playoffs. But I don't know, not the coach. If the QB never keeps the defense honest by keeping the ball, then WO will key on the fullback all night. Good luck Raiders!

Has White Oak faced an option offense this year?

After looking at some film of the Winona/ Grand Saline game I believe that Pewitt will handle Winona easily if they stop big plays. Winona has troubles with execution. Lots of penalties and false starts. Pewitt will have to watch out for the QB and #21. I'm ready to see Winona's #21 and PP #1 go head to head. Pewitt moves on.

PP easily. Playoff experience in the program is the key. Winona has none.

Looks like Winny will have to contend with their defense. They've held everyone in the district in check scoring wise.

If Winnsboro wins and Mt. Vernon wins, Winnsboro is automatically in as the 3rd place team with Prairiland being 4th due to them winning head-to-head vs Mt.Vernon. If Winnsboro loses and Mt. Vernon wins, then Mt. Vernon would be the 4th place team since they won the head-to-head and have the same district record. Now if Winny loses and both New Boston and Mt. Vernon win, then there would be a Three-way tie resulting a coin flip. Correct me if I'm wrong please.

Which teams has Pland beaten in district?

Seems like Winnsboro has momentum building towards the end of the season. I believe they will beat Pland on another rainy night. I would never wish for a player to be hurt or out of a game, but it seems to me that the Winnsboro Raiders changed their offensive gameplan after #20 went out. They are spreading the ball around to different backs, and is helping them build a more dynamic offense. And hopefully when #20 returns, the offense will really get moving along.
