For some reason back in the day most of our studs were put into special Ed programs. Not naming names to embarrass guys. 90% had no business being in there. One for goodness sakes has two degrees from TAMU-Commerce. We should've had dozens to play at the D1 level. Jimmy Willerson went to OU and had an 11 year nfl career. Pretty good when the avg is 4 years. As good as Jimmy was, he wasn't even the best player in his family let alone in Brahma history. Small schools have got to get their boys names out there. Lots of Diamonds in the rough in small town America. I hope 13 Mitchell gets some looks. He's got break away speed. He's D1 to me but definitely D2. When you break away from a Dfield tiger, that's something. I don't mean by a few yards either. He leaves people in the dust.

It's a good thing LK dropped classifications. What happened to LK? Back in the 90's you guys were with us Brahmas in the old 3A. We were 2nd smallest school in 3A. So much so after my senior year they dropped to 2A and won state. Wished I would've flunked lol. Just asking. Hope y'all are not going the way of Clarksville. They were 3A back then too. They're dang near 6 man football now. Town shrinking or are kids transferring?

I think that 1-9 may have paid dividends in the long run. Dfield has always had that mystique around them. Schools their size or even a little bigger just wouldn't play them. I know you want to play teams that get you ready but beat downs by schools twice your size does nobody any good. Finally able to schedule some games that are actually plausible. I feel for those kids on that team but going forward it's going to be good for the program.

It's Dfield ETF. Your always gonna field a good team. To much talent. Even down years there's talent, but like you said sometimes things don't fall into place.

Hey ETF and 57. I can tell you guys are probably fans during good years and more importantly bad years. It was yalls homecoming and the stands were maybe 60 % and we were sitting in the isles. You guys have great visitor seats, size wise. Pewitt does travel better than any other small school though. I realize a lot of folks stand by the concessions. Put them in the stands and it would look more full. Now you won't catch me dogging Dfield. Even during 1-9 years. To many trophies in yalls case for that. I'm all about the kids, no matter the school. I wish they had more backing.

Come on ETF, both sets of boys wanted it. 18 instead of 19 yards and we'd won. Now that's poor tackling on our part and some good moves by your QB, but to say y'all wanted it more is just bs. That's kind of a slap to our boys. But I'll pick this up in 51 weeks. Till then, good luck neighbors.

Better be. He knows Dfield was lucky to come away with that dub. Our fault we let the QB convert on a 4th and 19. Fact is if he'd got 18 yards we'd take a knee and it would've been ballgame. But it's just a game. I'm not gonna be all butt hurt for the next 51 weeks. I give the Dfield young men all the credit in the world. They came through.

Don't have a dog in the fight. Really didn't know what their schedule was. That 1-4 was just glaring at me. Sure they will be fine. Always field an athletic filled team.

Not hating on our Cass county neighbors, just think WO is to much for them. I disagree. I don't think it's a mirror image of last year. Most are juniors who probably weren't involved in the downward spiral. Things like this happen when you move up in classification. Transfers are great for the bank account, not so much for athletics though. I'll be pulling for stangs.
