Grapeland will lose 6 seniors, and return the rest - including freshman QB that passed for 1,948 yards & 19 Tds in 6 games, a Jr. LB (Hon-Mention All-state) that finished with 160 tackles, and a freshman OLB that had 100 tackles. The Sandies will also add 13 incoming freshmen from a good JH team. Will also be dropping from 2A Div. I to 2A Div. II. Sandies finished the 2015 season with a 4-7 record - losses were to the following teams: *Beckville (10-3) *Lovelady (14-1) *Alto (11-1) *Price-Carlisle (9-2) *Normangee (10-3) Very close game *Mt. I would really like to see Lovelady in a district with Alto and Carlisle for a couple of years.
