Hooks is the home team. The higher seeded team is almost always the home team.

D7 goes 1-3 at best. Hooks may beat Arp, but probably not. Pewitt won't beat Winona. Hughes Springs is gonna get dirt rolled by West Rusk. DK is going to get humiliated by Waskom. If/When Arp beats Hooks tonight, the sweep is on.

Right. Back a little further, Pewitt's record is impressive. But it hasn't been in these kid's career. Will have very little effect on this game, if any.

How smug and foolish can you be? #1 aint running over anything over on this side. He'll be doing good to finish the game with positive yardage. Then its on to Leonard or Alba for us. To the guy that said something about playoff experience- your kids were in middle school the last time Pewitt made it out of the 1st round. Arp is a hot team with a shot to make some waves as a 4 seed.

In response to the above post- To all my Winona boys out there, I offer a simple question. What means the world to you? Because this football thing- this team, this season, that 'W'- thats what means the world to me. I would give anything down to my last breath for any of you. Its been a long hard road to get to this point... A place everyone said was impossible for this team to get to. But here you are. No team has worked harder... No team has come farther... No group deserves success more than this group right here. Its your time. Remember- someone that is willing to sacrifice anything and everything to achieve a goal cannot be denied. Give everything for your brothers and for that 'W' on your helmet. ALL IN. TOGETHER. UNBEATABLE.

You are being shady by suggesting someone really thinks Winona is better on offense when you know no one said that and no one thinks that. Different teams match up differently, teams approach opponents differently, and games play out differently. Personally, I wouldn't be shocked if neither team made it past the low 20s.

Honestly, I dont know. Like I have said, we have speed but we aren't flashy. I don't see us as a big play team, though we do have some big play ability. I believe Pewitt's D is good... As good as any, better than most. Their offense seems to have a knack for doing just enough to win, much like ours. I think there will be a feeling out process early in the game, both teams playing extremely hard on defense trying to get their footing on O while still trying not to make any big mistakes. I think the first half will be very tight and low scoring. I think things will open up in the second half but that favors Winona somewhat. Winona breaks a couple of big plays in the 2nd half to defeat a steady and tough Pewitt team something like 30-31 to 19-20. I know many of you wont agree with it, but that is my honest answer.
