I agree with you that they underachieved...my point is that 8-2 is probably a little overboard. They were coming off of a 4-7 season overall. Now, I do believe that they are significantly better than 2-8. Will be interesting to find out more about the behind the scenes stuff here.

Toss up in the 4th round. CH seems to be playing better. Kilgore has struggled with them in the playoffs for some reason. Kilgore should win by 10+ but CH will not back down. Wouldn't be surprised to see it as a one score game either way.

Nice breakdown! Appreciate your insight, especially since I know very little about Iowa Colony. Only game film I have seen on them is the Needville game on Youtube. They seem to be very athletic, but they do not seem any more athletic than Kilgore, Chapel Hill, or Palestine.

So Iowa Colony's opponents are averaging 3 turnovers per game? Sounds like it could be good defense...or sloppy play from their opponents. Averaging 3 takeaways and almost 4 sacks per game is definitely a recipe for success...

I would say that is pretty accurate from what I can tell. Looked like our coaches made a decision to run more base type plays and not run the QB much. Some backups were subbed in and it was raining pretty hard at that time. We stalled a bit but when the starters went back in it looked like we scored with ease.
