  1. Same here no doubt Timpson had a great team but just fell short that’s just how it goes sometimes
  2. Refugio by 20 thinking to athletic for Hawley and especially with Campbell getting more involved in the game boy takes fast to another level
  3. Refugio wins by 21 I mean look what region 4 has done to region 3 in the past from Waskom, Centerville, San Augustine twice, Lovelady, Timpson twice, Thursday you can add Timpson to the list again sorry it is what it is
  4. I agree with Everide Refugio has yet to open up the playbook, what hurts Shiner is Doug Brooks is gone but still have Dalton, it’s much easier to contain one good back than two, I think Refugio wins this game but like any coach well tell you they hate to play the same team twice in a season especially a month apart, that first game Refugio ran at will against Shiner didn’t really pass much, I’m guessing cause they knew they would meet up with Shiner again, I’m sure Refugio has a bigger playbook than Shiner and we should see a whole different game from their first meeting, should be a good one though no doubt
  5. He plays Wr not Qb so the balls not always in his hands, Refugio has got play makers all over the field for him to stand out like Bussey does, but I can assure you seeing him play first hand he takes that track speed to the football field with no problem
  6. I wouldn’t say Shiner gets by Refugio this year, Refugio has turned it up a notch and playing good football right now
  7. You turn the ball over four times to Refugio and you ain’t over coming anything, you ain’t playing just any other school this Refugio you talking about
  8. And I’ll be the first to tell you Shiner would do to SA what Refugio will do Thursday trust me, Shiner was picked by some to win state they had an exceptionally good football team this was their year, but you forgetting Refugio is Refugio they come to play an don’t lay down for anyone. I’ll be surprise if SA can even keep this game close I just don’t see it, Refugio is firing on all cylinders right now don’t think SA defense is good enough to slow them down but we’ll soon find out
  9. Refugio rolls again big, Refugio is a different animal so dont be surprise if they put up 50-60 points on SA
  10. I saw that too he punched one of Refugio’s players and Refs didn’t call it, but they throw a flag on Refugio’s coach right after that happened, what da hell!!!
  11. You make it sound like Refugio only threw with a min left to go in the game did they not have 3TD passes? Refugio gave y’all big returns in the kickoffs to set up a couple of yalls TDS, they even gave y’all a fumble which y’all returned 94 yds for a TD otherwise y’all be looking at 70 pts, they held yalls high octane offense to 14 pts after averaging 41. I would say that makes them pretty great
  12. Refugio just to much tonight like I thought, they came ready to play SA kept it close for 1st qt then it was over after that. SA didn’t have an answer for Refugio’s running game and Refugio took advantage of that, they can do it all run, throw all around complete team. Mart will have there hands full next week no doubt Very impressive performance by Refugio
  13. I can call Cville but no direspect to them they had 3 losses, but going by what you said “hit you in the mouth all night” is good but what happens when they’re hitting you in the mouth?
  14. How’s SA’s defense? Are they big on the line? What about their offense? Can someone give some kind of input?
  15. Refugio has played the likes of Navarro Shiner Mason Goliad Edna all good teams and that went 3-4 rounds in the playoffs. What would make SA so much better than those teams? Navarro had tremendous size, Shiner had some big kids and Refugio kept pounding the football, but when you least expect it the pass will come. They alternate 3-4 RBs it’s just not one guy, they have incredible size on the line, you’re right we can cuss and discuss all we want but the game has to be played still. Like I said earlier it’s who’s defense can stop who
  16. Yeah you can’t compare Cville passing game to Refugio’s and I know SA passing game a lot better then Masons, but the difference will come down to who can stop who, I doubt SA has seen a team like Refugio all year but I could be wrong we’ll see Thursday night
  17. They had 3ints last Friday, and I don’t know if you could compare SA to that Canadian team, you gotta ask yourself can SA QB throw on the run? He will be pressured
  18. Don’t know much about SA but they gonna have to play their best football to beat Refugio, Refugio’s Defense is stout against the run they got great size on the line and on offense they pretty well balanced. They’ve faced a lot of good teams so you can say their battled tested, should be a good game
  19. Take into consideration Dangerfield beat the best in their classification that year unlike today where there is two divisions, who's the real champ?
  20. Waskom is lucky they don't have to play Refugio again or they'd get another beat down. LLion is right 2 years later and still talking about the game SMH. You don't want them to score with a minute left stop them, that's all I got to say simple as that.
  21. Speaking of the championship can u purchase a ticket at the gate or does it have to be online?
  22. Worse officiating crew I've ever seen, Refugio did play sloppy tonight but did enough to win LL hung in there though but Refugio just to much
