We don't have time to wait on Carlos Gomez to get hot... Need to start working Tucker into the lineup more and if we want to go with a defensive CF that is a so/so hitter then Marisnick is a better defensive player in my opinion.

This is terrible...

Allowing students that just want to play baseball to do so is not "creating a situation"... Making them play football IS... If a kid wants to play multiple sports then let them. If they just want to play one then let them. It's about what's best for the kid.

Hope the new AD gets to come in, run his program, and elevate all sports. Good Luck to ND.

Yeah you need a lock down kind of guy in the 9th and Gregerson just doesn't fit that mold. Giles has that kind of stuff. But agreed about Gregerson being a competitor... you gotta like that in a player.

Agreed with year round baseball being a big part of it. Also think that it's that kids don't throw enough to "get loose" and also stretch it out to strengthen the arm... while at the same time throw too much off a mound throughout the year. Another plus of kids throwing just a FB and CH until high school is that they have to learn to get hitters out without having to rely on a BB. Makes them that much better when they finally learn a BB right before or at the start of high school.
