  1. Tigers, Lions, House Cats.....you got the point lol I was half asleep.
  2. Madisonville returned alot of talent and will be much improved. You might be right about their record at the end of the year. Let's face it though; Teague isn't on the level it was last year. They've got alot of work to do or it's going to be a very rough year for the Lions. My safe prediction for Madisonville is 8-2 with close losses at Bellville and Woodville.
  3. Cameron Yoe's crowd was a thing of beauty all four years I've seen them at state.
  4. Liberty was the best team we played. There's no question Yoe has played a much tougher schedule. There's not much discussion there. Woodville matches up well with Yoe, who has struggled to stop good running attacks this year. Should be a competitive game.
  5. Both teams travel to Conroe's Buddy Moorehead Stadium in a match-up of two of the most talented teams in Region 3. It will be a tough task for Woodville, but many think they will compete well with the Yoemen, who are having a "down" year. Thoughts? Opinions? Predictions?
  6. I didn't ask you to pick one. It just seems everyone always has an excuse to downplay a loss they feel shouldn't have happened. It gets old sometimes.
  7. I have a feeling it would've meant a little more to yall if yall weren't the ones getting your butt kicked. First, scrimmages mean nothing. Then, non-district games mean nothing. What's next? Are district games going to start losing importance too?
  8. Woodville dominated this game, outside of a shaky end-3rd and early-4th, where Madisonville scored. Madisonville, from I was told, looked good on defense in the first half, but Woodville overwhelmed then with speed in the second half. This Woodville team has good size on the offensive line, along with about 6 backs that would get a good amount of playing time on any other team in the district. They've done all this with one of their best athletes and starting safety out with a sprained MCL.....
  9. Woodville won the live half, 7-0. Both teams scored once in the scrimmage.
  10. Anybody got any updates? Any comments at all?
  11. This is a good job for the right person. It will take a young guy who knows how to develop a program...not for someone who will give up easily.
