If EF comes out with the intensity level they did against WR then my prediction is 28-14 EF leads going into halftime. Newton implodes against that level of passing that EF brings to the table. Final score EF 42- 28 -
66-0 !!!! Waskom was taken out behind the woodshed 7 TIMES this year, that's a bunch of trips

***2 time defending state champs Waskom vs #1 Newton***

Well if you lost to Harleton last week and play the #1 ranked team this week. Your gonna get a mouthfull of baby ruths during that game. I hope none of your boys get injured playing the crash test dummy. -

Sometimes your better off finishing 5th place in district and this is one of those times. -
I think waskom wins this game. I know they ain't suppose to but I got a feeling they dig deep tonight and pull out a V. Waskom 28- WR 17
-
I gotta say the Tigers pull this one out, But the tigers don't go down without a fight!!!!

WR held a talented dual threat flexbone offense to 21 pts last week. I would be surprised if a single threat flexbone with no ability to pass can even get one score. Maybe on a busted play or against the WR 3rd string. I'm thinking that waskom should give Arp the flexbone and change the name of their offense to the Flintstone offense. Wr could put 11 men in the box, leave the receivers uncovered and the odds would still be in WR favor of Waskom not scoring.

I don't know know if we were just fools gold early in the year or we just played 2 excellent teams the past 2 weeks and had close loses. Starting to feel like a old spoiled dawg fan.

Beckville 27-17. After Arp and ef loses I will be surprised if the remainder of the season is as imporant to the W team as it is its fans. We will see what these new age W kids have in that area. If they play hard W wins but if it's just go through the motions effort then beckville wins

Gonna be a long night for Kilgore with carthage coming off a loss.
-
First half will be done in a snap. With 2 slot t teams.
-
I can keep flapping my gums if you W fans want entertainment. Lol
-
What kind of offenses do these two teams run??
-
Only MMA fans know where that came from. Yall might use that for your battle alter ego. Henderson during the week and Hendo on Friday night. Just wish I wouldn't have started last week against us. Lol
-
Maybe I was a little harsh. Confident is sufficient

Would have beat refugio with a short passing game to keep the defense honest. W will never see that level of talent again that W can be successful with 10 men in the box and still be able to move the ball. That's once every 60 years for a small school.
-
Well yall will never see that type of success again anyway. Looks like another trip to the basement for W. You guys could of had 3 titles and be a better team this year but your coach is too arrogant to develop anything that resembles a competitive passing game. Until then it's .500 football for the W. My is prediction is the W grandstands will be silenced as soon as EF gets the football Friday night. Maybe W will receive the ball first so the party will last 4-5 min after the opening whistle if not W won't even get a chance to cheer as soon as reality sets in.

I don't have a problem with waskom. I follow the bulldogs, eagles, jackets, mavs and them cats. Pretty much in that order but most of the time those other threads are sensible. I just read 1/2aWildcat post and he sounds like a baby that needs his diaper changed. Bulldogs were on a bye last week so I watched the 3a games this past weekend. From what I saw is Arp is a bigger and more powerful football team then waskom. Waskom is fast but the hits were all one-sided in the results. When waskom got hit by Arp they were complete destruction of the waskom backs. Waskom skill position kids are going to have to physically mature before they are a contender again. Running team vs running team- arps more of a physical presence and that's why you lost. It took its toll on your kids after 4qtrs. Everytime your guys were tackled it looked extremely painful for the waskom back. An it started on the first offensive possession for arp when arps #3 reversed field. The field was littered with cats rolling around and half asleep from Crack back blocks. I considered calling 911 after the results of that play. Arp vs EF- we don't know yet. Ef ain't as fast as waskom but are a thicker group of kids as a whole. An EF don't line up to play power football, they spread teams out and make them respect the whole field. If EF ran the option then Arp wins hands down and if Arp ran spread offense then EF wins but this game has good football players on both side with completely different skill sets. Arp has a d1 running back and ef has a d1 reciever. Can ef defense contain the outide edges and can Arp defense contain the big plays in the air. This will be a good game despite 1/2Awildcat says while he is out on the playground with a diaper full of poo, mad, arms crossed and throwing his toys in the dirt cause his team ain't the only good one around.
