I wish that Spring Hill, Gladewater, and White Oak were in the same district.... be same great football games with a lot people at them. Also good for each of the schools considering how close they are.

Good chance of West Rusk moving up to 3A-D1 if the numbers stay the same. 315 last snapshot and i do believe enrollment is up.
I doubt it... a bunch of 330's and 340's in D-2. Will have to make big jump in enrollment to move up.

Hey! Root for your local team but support the entire dist. We need to get back to a top 3 dist in the state the talant is here got to depend on the parents and coaching to bring these fine kids around. The biggest burden falls on the parents. The first officive line is making sure education is number 1. It will all fall into place after that
I never want to see anyone fail, and I totally agree the talent is her. Just have to get it going! Would love to be one of the strongest districts in the state at some point. Makes for great games and memories.

White Oak will run under the radar, and that game will be the turning point and will give a boost into the playoffs for one of the teams. Hope it's the boys from the valley of of roughnecks bc they're due!

Have West Rusk butting heads with Crockett in the first round... Reasonable predictions though.

I agree if Hood were in the game it would have made a huge difference. When you lose a leader on offense it always comes back to haunt you. We got a little taste of that same thing last year when our RB went down for the season. Good luck this year and hope it's injury free!

Hard to pick between Jefferson and WO, but I think Jefferson has what it takes to win the district this year. Could go either way but those will be the top 2 teams for sure!
Last year, i firmly believe, if Hood wouldn't have gone down they would have competed much better and won that game. Turned the ball over a lot, but not taking anything away from Jefferson, they got us haha!

Not a homer pick, but I strongly believe White Oak will get it done this year. Last year they were caught at the wrong time in a tough environment in Jefferson and bit the dust. They bring back key players and get some back from injury and should reload with a talented JV that went 9-1.

No doubt Winona found its stride going into the playoffs last yearour boys and coaches put together a great game plan at the end of the season and executed well, until we ran up against a gunter team who played at a whole another level than I have seen from a 3a team, the better team won that game hands down, this year I hope we pick up where we left off last season, the boys expect to be great this year but so do all other teams so time will tell

Traditionally Daingerfield would run any White Oak team off of the field.
White Oak in the past, yes. White Oak the last 7 years, no. Just goes to show the times have changed. D-Field showed they can be good last year at times, just fell asleep on a Winona team that was hot last season. It happens. They'll be determined to avenge that this year. Ready for the throwdown in DField this year, last year was a dandy of a game!
