They proved they could be the same team with the back up last week. played basically 60% of the game with out him.

Don't get involved with them, let the players do the talking. I can tell you one thing from the JV game, if anyone came in cocky it was Jefferson, and White Oak came out and hit them in the mouth. Let them talk and waste their energy.

I've seen both of them play, and both are dual threat. Neither of them have quite the running ability Hood had, and #8 arm isn't as good. The JV QB can unload a bomb whenever and wherever he wants, but he's a sophomore with no varsity experience. I do believe White Oak has to great kids to pick from to replace Hood for a few weeks.

Y'all had trouble too. In defense of Sabine they just couldn't finish drives. Penalties and turnovers have been their biggest issue. We both gave up the same amount of points to them. Last week, against a very good Redwater team, WO may have given up 150 yards the entire game. Never said Jefferson didn't have speed, and i'll give Jefferson the respect they deserve for being 6-2, they've earned it. I just don't think Jefferson is ready for the physicality of our defense. Put that on display last week.

They always have to athletes but have lacked the discipline. Last year they had injury problems and i can understand that, but they went 4 years putting the biggest and fastest kids on the field and still didn't win. I'm still curious about this Jefferson defense that's so good. Giving up 36 to Hughes Springs....

I don't mind the Jefferson posters getting hyped up. They are in for a rude awakening when we come rollin in. Their Offense ain't ready for our defense, peaking at the right time. Y'all may be fast and athletic but technique works wonders. Bring on that "Jefferson" speed and we will see what happens.

Mount Vernon. This one comes down to the wire. If MV can contain the running back and pressure the QB Farmersville is in trouble. But they are playing in Farmersville, makes it even harder to win.

We played D-Field... seen the speed before! Is Jefferson well disciplined on defense?

Might not be a good idea! Both canadites to replace Hood are mobile and can pick apart a defense. WO has great depth at the QB. Proof of that with the performance the back up had against Redwater, and JV QB who is leading an offense scoring 45+ a game. JV QB has a great arm and can run, and so can the kid from the other night. It's just next man up for White Oak! They'll do just fine.

Be careful saying y'all have to many athletes. Teague fields a ton now that almost everyone is back from injury. In my opinion the playing field is level with slight advantage to y'all. the 2 corners and safety for Teague are arguably some the best athletes around. They can go toe-to-toe with Barker, Hurt, and Russell. D-Line is also active and can pressure QB's and have done it all year. Expect a good ball game friday. I am a neutral party though. I do believe Malakoff may be the real deal this year looking at stats, scores, and the athletes they're putting on the field. They have the talent to do damage as well. Just believe this game will be better than advertised.

Both #8 and the JV QB are capable of coming and producing.
