I was impressed agian with PG against WP. Score didn't really show how well the offense adjusted to a scrappy defense. Think PG has a real good shot at beating Celina. Good luck HAWKS.

Never slow down PGDad. You have taken your lumps on here for sure. PG is a real threat in the playoffs. Ball control offense that can strike quick is not seen much anymore. May not get the same type team next year so BANG your chest a lil. It's PG's time for a run.

I know we all have seen some weird stuff on Friday nights but that's what makes this sport what it is. I will take the crazy,goofy,annoying,loud,and yes even the ones that know nothing about football over the ones that sit and say nothing at all. I have seen just about everything from the stands on Friday nights and so many stories I could tell as I am sure we all could. If I had any real complaint I guess it would be to the person complaining about any kid that was doing the best they could in any activity that happens on Friday night. Not a bash on anyone's comments. I am just proud of any kid that is willing to be a part of my favorite sport, Texas High School Football.

I don't think I have seen a targeting call in high school. It was a big hit but I think he lead with shoulder and not helmet. Happens fast and I could have missed it. Regardless of intent there were several chances for the refs to throw flags on those. I kinda like the letem play refs but sometimes you get kids throwing punches from it also. Just thankful no injuries from any of those shots by both teams. Proud of both schools for finishing the way they did. Final whistle blew and they both were respectful.

Well I had PG all wrong with Gladewater. I won't bet against them anymore this year,unless for some reason yall meet Tatum. Congrats on the win and good luck with Rusk.

Was a crazy night for sure. They played like it was for the district title and never slowed down. Refs ,well lets say they prolly had better calls before but I don't think they changed the outcome of the game. Although the pass interference late in the game I didn't see that call as needed and could have made a difference. Alot of big hits and big plays,really good game to watch. Spring Hill has alot coming back next year so maybe we can get in the mix next year. I know this is about football but it was a great halftime show by 2 state qualifying bands .

PG vs Tatum would be a great game. I think Tatum could win that game. Not in a blowout. Tatum doesn't normally fall short in the speed category and that's where PG needs the advantage. Nothing against PG I like the offense and they run it well. Only question I would have is how well the d line is playing for Tatum. If they are strong up front then Tatum can handle PG.

Gladewater can defend the run. I still feel they are the best team in this district. PG will show heart all the way but the relentless power of Gladewater run game is extremely difficult to defend for 4 quarters.

If there are alot of open seats around you in the reserved section is a indicator. Then I guess its me.

I watched that marlin game in Tyler. The line was big and fast. I don't know who the punt returner was but I saw him get hit by the whole team at least once and some twice during a return. Can't remember if he scored but he was a real talent. Had one Marlin player pulling his pads off by half time.

Not sure what that means Maineman. Just messin with you anyway. I have heard the announcer from PG before. He is a true fan gotta give him that. I kinda like those type for away games gets your team fired up if you can keep him quiet after a critical down. Gotta support your team or teams any way you can.

This could be a really good game to watch. The running game of GW is impressive they can can go at you or around you. I also think Pitt can stretch the field causing coverage issues. I think both teams scoring 30 is possible. Good luck to both.

You should have seen our start to the Pittsburgh game down 21 with 10 min left in first. Felt so bad for them but they never stopped. PG has a great atmosphere for football. I know its hard to get a win there but home field advantage is a term for a reason. We just gotta play our best and see what happens. I know PG has stories about playing at spring hill too. Good stuff can't wait till Friday.

If we did say a bad word would that tarnish your view of our school ,kids or coaches? Just wondering what the headline will be on Saturday.

Huntington has some big kids up front but the lack of speed will show up early. Get the work in and stay healthy ,playoffs are coming.
