Was there another post that had to deal with remarks to Devane Clark on here, just curious because he called me and said remarks were not nice about him. Just wondering

It is because the voters are usually in the area of the top teams on the list and never give this region much respect

I have read the articles and this guy must be a good coach, does he run the same defenses like Tomlin or is he strictly man to man or zone.

Thad is a great coach and I hated to see him leave Gilmer but he had to see it he liked being in charge so good luck to him and Lindale has a good coach.

I was told that the school did not have very much to look foward to sports wise and he was being unfairly pressured to win with nothing.

Yes poison it is tuesday at Lobo, right after the LE girls play. So Gilmer if your out there we also need a big crowd to support the Bux. Im taking Gilmer in this one. :happy65:

A win by the Buckeyes makes them the outright Champions because WO will have 3 loses and so will Sabine and the Bucks would only have 2 loses. Sabine and WO would not have to play because the WO beat them twice. Only playoff occurs if Gilmer loses to WO. With that being said I will pick the Bux to win this one in a battle. GO BUX :happy65:

The final was 62-50 with Zack Jones leading the way with 29, Devane Clark had 14 and Cody Kern with 8. The Cardinal fought hard but came up a little short in the end. Good Job both teams and Congratulation to the Buckeyes.

Coach Boyett must have went back to the pressure man to man system that he is know for. Good Job to both teams I bet it was a hard fought game and good to watch.

The Buckeyes were led by the junior point guard Devane Clark with 24, Senior Cody Kern with 12 and a host of other buckeyes chipped in for the win.

Did the 1-2-2 zone hurt Sabine or was the bad shooting the reason for the score being close

Coach taylor dropped Clipboard on the court and the ref tech him up. The PAnther girls bet the lady bux by a big margin, #32 HAD 32 points for SH and she is only a freshman

I taking Gilmer, sabine and White Oak. I am choosing Gilmer because I think that Gilmer will run and keep Spring Hill reeling and trying to catch up. I am choosing sabine because the are too deep for the waterand White oak will outshoot Mineola. Just my opinion

Spring Hill will bring all they have and if Tarpley get it going early he tends to carry the team, so Sabine better get a hold of him early.

The Gilmer Buckeyes roll over Mt Vernon 68-37 in the last game before district starts. They were lead by the sharp shooting of Cody Kern and a host of others. The starters only played half of the third and the subs finished out the contest. Good Job Bucks and Good luck in districts :happy65:

This was the first game they played that year after the State Championship run in football and they were not in shape or have more than one or two practices that year. The team also had three players that were on the Van traveling team that year and went on to enjoy the run with the Vandals. This post has took a turn for the worse again because snowbird seems to hate anyone who has a won a couple of game in any sport. I have an idea why dont you get into coaching and play these teams that you dislike. :happy65:
