    Any idea where?

No Columbus coach won't agree to anything is what I'm hearing. He wants Alamodome which is 3 hours for us and 1.5 for them on friday at 3pm. But that is what I'm hearing so who knows. IMO Waller is the best location it's only 1 hour for them. 1 hour and 15 minutes for us.

Overton said the same thing, and see how far that got them. Grapeland was missing players as well, including their quarterback, which would be similar to missing Scott and their quarterback combined. That’s how much he makes the offense and defense better.

Until someone figures out how to run against Grapeland's three down linemen, it will be a long night for any team facing them. With those three, they don’t have to blitz or anything, allowing Grapeland to drop seven into coverage. If Bremond plays like they did vs Mount it will be a long night for them.

Hard to beat a good team twice which grapeland come out on top last night.

Should be a good one. How did y'all like that stadium? Very nice stadium, imo.

Have you heard where the next game will be at yet?

That stadium is okay.... legacy, tomball, berry center are nicer. Have not heared yet but it will probably be at tomball or Katy legacy

Edna is a "contender" until they lose.  IF they win Region IV, then they will "contend" for another win against the winner of Region III.....undefeated.  IF you are talking "contenders", then Edna has to be one of 4 IF they win Region IV.  I'm not saying Edna will win Region IV, but the odds look that way.  I'm not saying that Edna would win against the Region III winner, but there is a chance they could "contend" for a win.....according to the definition of "contender".  They would be in a position to win.....and undefeated at that time.  So how do you argue against that, Huh?

According to Pigskin, this is #3 Hitchcock (165.75 rating) taking on #6 Franklin (155.65 rating) - and they have Hitchcock favored by 10.

The stats below are only considering district and playoff games for each team.

Hitchcock is averaging 47.8 per game against teams that give up 31.5 a game (+16.3) and they hold teams scoring 34.9 a game to just 11.2 (-23.8) for a swing of +40.1.

Franklin is scoring 58.7 per game against teams that allow 35.1 per game (+23.6) while holding teams averaging 32.9 per game to just 19.7 (-13.2) for a swing of +36.8.

Based on this, I get a toss-up.  The math spits out 35-35, but gives Hitchcock less than 1 point advantage, so I'd say 35-34 Hitchcock.

There are two common opponents between Hitchcock and Franklin - they each played one of the other team's district opponents in round 1 of the playoffs.  Those common opponents are Hallettsville and Little River Academy.

Against Hallettsville : Hitchcock won 42-3.  Franklin won 48-6.

Against Little R. Ac. : Hitchcock won 56-0.  Franklin won 51-15.

As far as I'm concerned, these are basically the same kinds of games.  The difference in absolute margin of victory would be (in my opinion) more indicative of how each team handles blow out wins (when do backups come it, how conservative to you go, etc.) and not necessarily the quality of the team.  Once you're winning by 35+, you're just cruising.  But, for those who'd like to know, Hitchcock's average margin of victory in these games is 47.5 while Franklin's is 39.0.

If I put Hitchcock's worst games up against Franklin's best games, I get Franklin in a 36-27 win - 9-point edge to Franklin.

If I put Hitchcock's best games up against Franklin's worst games, I get Hitchcock in a 41-28 win - 13- point edge to Hitchcock.

Considering only playoff games (albeit the small sample size of a whopping TWO games), Hitchcock's average playoff score is 49-9 while Franklin's is 40-10.  With Hitchcock's swing in those games being a +49.6 while Franklin's is a +34.1.  That will give Hitchcock the edge in the overall prediction :

    Hitchcock - 35

    Franklin - -  34

Hope you're prediction is a tad off.... like Canadian vs Franklin 😉

To CS for Westwood? Of course. I have a kid in band, and my daughter is at A&M, so I get to kill two birds. I thought I remembered you saying you were going earlier this week.

I'm going to be on the Westwood side @blackngoldtiger

More lines doesn't help with traffic, sometimes, it makes traffic worse, ie induced demand.

Not in college station it's only backed up for an hour or so and between about 4 exits. This cities are working on moving up the lanes for 4 to 6 just through bcs. They also have Santa's Wonderland right on the outside of college station that does not help with traffic.

  8. Btw guys traffic sucks in BCS... you will probably hit a slow down around University drive. Traffic has gotten a lot worse and it needs to be turned into a 6 line.

Don’t get me started! All I have ever heard is how brutal this SEC conference is, no matter who you play. Next man up if they’re injured. NFL talent Blah, blah, blah. I will never be an SEC homer. What did Florida just do last week, and what did Arkansas do a few weeks ago?

You see what the aggies did their first year in the SEC.
