So Gunter playing and seeing a team the caliber of Celina or Anna will not make them better down the road? These games most certainly do matter. What if you are in a weak district and the teams are horrible? Does the teams you played in non district make you ready for a playoff run?

I disagree I believe seeing good teams in non district can get you ready for the long run which Diboll was that for us in the past 2 years

So we should just forfeit the games go 0-5 and not play anyone. Then match-up with a district opponent for our first game and see how we do. Im willing to bet we lose that game

If you go look at what I said about this week's game I think Westwood can win the game all they have to do is mirror what Lorena did to them last season.

This is a stupid take. If you have to play games to get ready for other games they should matter because without them you can not get better. Playing Celina made us better, playing China Spring made us better. Playing Diboll in 2022 and 2023 made us better.

Really, I would say it made our kids better and showed them how to face adversity. Can't get better sitting on the sidelines watching everyone else play.

Well seeing we went lost our first two game in 2020 then marched to state. but we didn't lose those games because they don't count.

So Hitchcock is undefeated still, So are we since the games we lost to that private school and Celina don't count. Marlin is also undefeated and didn't lose to HG because the game does not count. Malakoff is not on a 30 game win streak if the games don't count.
