Like I said ask Diboll fans who have gone to the game over the years and they will tell you the same as I have. For someone not from Franklin who wants to tell me which and who was great at this program is wild. Everyone brings their A game against Franklin period Hallettsville didn't have a single turnover against Franklin in the first half which was a first for them all season. How can someone from the outside tell me what the standard is or what I should know about this program. But Back to Lowry he was a great leader for the kids under him but to say he was the only leader from that senior class is a slap in the face to the other kids who left and graduated last year that were also great leaders.

Diboll has played franklin tough year after year. This game was the mirror image of the past 5 games against each other. I don't think anyone from diboll or Franklin thought this game would be a blow out. One team could be 1-9 and the other 10-0 and the game would still be played close. You told people that losing the qb was gonna be tough for Franklin? The QB in a slot t offense? Hey if being in the 3rd round is showing people we are having a down year I will take it.

Just a heads up guys the parking at this stadium can suck. Im also hearing that if you don't go to this game you wont be able to watch it due to no one picking up this game for video viewing. Now I know NFHS has cameras there because we have played their freshman team twice this season.

The Schobles run the town of Columbus. They will keep up with them without leaving.

Bremond vs Franklin was a huge rivalry and both towns still don't like each other. About 15 miles apart for them. When Franklin was on that 39 game win streak bremond fans wanted them to lose more than any other town and school in the state. We have had to find and start a new rivalry because of the other towns shrinking and us growing. BUt we have a nice little rivalry going with Lorena now.

It listed Teague vs Groesbeck as a top 100 rivalry but no Fairfield vs Teague. Just because you view it as a top rival does not make it so. I feel like Franklin vs Hearne should be on the list but was not on the list and they played their first game 107 years ago and have played 70 times.

The more I have been thinking about it Westwood has a good shot at winning this game. All they have to do is mirror what Lorena did last year. Columbus is great at defending a pass heavy or run heavy team. But when you are a balanced team with athletes then they struggle like they did against Lorena. On top of that they are banged up with multiple lineman down and rigdon.
