  1. How do you feel about giving DeSheilds a chance to be the everyday CF. Really feel he is still developing into a good lead off hitter. Can make things happen on the base paths. I know he isn't the best defensively and that would put him out there with Mazara and Calhoun making them a subpar OF, but could make for a nice offensive producing OF.
  2. Harmony is going to roll. Big, physical, and fast. Their defense is the real deal. Haven't seen a defense fly around the way they flew around when I watched them. As good as their offense is, I would say their defense is much better than their offense this year. A Harmony Gunter matchup would be must see for me this year.
  3. Quitman got a good one! Coach Oakes will be successful because he invests in the players and they will buy in!
  4. So excited for this, but more importantly I am excited for them building up the area in between the stadiums to give you some where to go before and after the games. Some of the best atmospheres in baseball have to do with the area surrounding the stadium. I loved the feel to Wrigley and Coors field with the entertainment area surrounding the park.
  5. That's what makes it great, it will never be 100% right in everyone's eyes. I love the debate and different view points, it's why they release this so early. I'm getting off for the night but looking forward to see how everything shapes up the rest of the season and looking forward to jumping on next week and debating the next ranking!
  6. Rutgers 2-6 Idaho 4-4 Portland State 2-6 Arizona 2-6 Stanford 5-3 Oregon 3-5 Oregon State 2-6 Utah 7-2 Nothing too impressive there if you want to go that route...
  7. But bottom line is the committee, with what they showed today, doesn't believe the PAC 12 or Big XII will have a one loss champion or they would have been ranked ahead. The ACC and Big 10 will be represented with undefeated teams along with the SEC. The 4th spot is the one that will be debated but it won't matter because they will have to play Bama.
  8. I would agree with this and LSU will beat A&M. LSU is the one team A&M has yet to beat in the West since joining the conference.
  9. Problem with the Big XII is that they have not have an undefeated conference champion. Don't think you can compare the two with a 1 loss A&M losing to the #1 team in the nation compared to a co-champion/1-loss champion of the Big XII
  10. I think Auburn is the same team they have been all year long. They just had an extremely difficult stretch to open their season. Clemson, A&M, and LSU in your first 4 games can make any team look bad if they come out on the losing end of two of those.
  11. Can't wait to see what happens when teams start scheduling other Power 5 conference opponents rather than the cupcake schools that they beat up on. One reason when Baylor will be out of the conversation if they are a one loss team.
  12. Guys, A&M will not make it in, unless A TON, goes in their favor. They will not play in a conference championship game and will need someone to beat Washington and keep them out of the PAC-12 Championship game. They will also need OU to win the Big XII with their two non-conference losses. Louisville, Ohio State, and Nebraska I believe would all need to pick up a second loss. Ohio State and Nebraska play this weekend so we know that one will come true. I see Washington running the table and going undefeated. But really is it that big of a joke if A&M does make it and their only loss is to Bama? Had A&M not committed a roughing the passer penalty on 3rd and long right after they took the lead, it could have been a different game. Don't think it was as bad of a score as it ended. I just don't see it being as much of a "joke" as you guys do when you actually break it down and look at the games.
  13. I will agree with you on Washington but not the other two. Ohio States loss came to an average Penn State team and Louisville took a hit this week when the barely squeaked by Virginia. A&M lost to a team that could very well be in the discussion of the best college team ever. I just don't see anyone beating Bama this year. Also, I agree with you on the not being released yet. Should give it another two weeks when more of the season is played out.
  14. "That's a hold!!!" on every offensive play ran by the opposing team.
