Yes I was talking on the boys side, girls also made Regional tournament in basketball last 2 years!! I guess I should take that statement back all together, I'm pretty sure our boys track team went to the State meet 2 years ago, we have some pretty solid cross country runners. In 2A golf you get a couple of good golfers and you have a shot.

Heard there have been lots of solid applicants which is exciting. It’d be a great job to have, great kids, great fans, great support. It isn’t a Teneha there are 1 maybe 2 4.8 kids and no 4.6’s there are a bunch of hard working tough kids. It won’t be an easy job you better be ready to eat sleep and breathe it. Get them believing in your program at a young age. If you work your a$$ off we can be good in football Coach Adams is proof. Although everyone who knows me knows you better be an AD that loves all sports in my opinion Baseball is our best chance for a State Championship.

I will say going into the season I picked Alto over Carlisle, I thought new coach new QB maybe they were a little over rated but not now Carlisle is legit. Alto will have their hands full this week.

Agreed but you ain’t finishing fourth, well unless the whole varsity gets suspended and the JV has to finish the season. Then there’s a possibility of fourth.

I don’t guess we could’ve ever had a better start, but we have tied it a time or two. We went 10-0 a few years ago. We’ve made the playoffs the last 5 maybe 6yrs. Coach Adams and crew have done a great job with the program. Honestly this is a rebuilding year, graduated 17 last year. We’ve had a lot of young kids step up. I think the kids and coaches all know the season gets tougher from here. It was a big win last night and gives us a shot at getting into the playoffs.

I'm not saying we're great but Grove is a little better than average. We definitely played pretty crappy against Overton but I don't think we'll finish 3rd in the district.

Definitely on turnovers, wind not as much a factor for us unless it's a good tailwind.

Word is we'll be down 9 kids tonight between injuries and disciplinary issues, but the coaches have changed some things up this week and the boys are ready. I hope we can make a game of it. I know Big Sandy will be ready. I think we can be physical enough, but containing the speed is going to be our biggest challenge.

Ok we aren't big trash talkers at UG. This year has been rough but hope we are up for tomorrow.

We didn't have any move ins this year there were a couple last year one moved back from Japan where his dad was stationed and one from somewhere else not around here. Both played JV last year one's a receiver and one's an outside linebacker. As far as size our skiiled position players are big several 6' - 6'3 185 -210 but our O line and D line are small may avg190-200 we're smaller this year than we have been in several years.

I think he's ok now. He was mad because the runner was going first to third on the bunt and SS got in the way and they made contact. Umpire said it was incidental contact, but it shouldn't matter whether it was incidental or intentional runner still gets 3rd base. Coach was livid because he wouldn't ask the other umpire for clarification on the rule. Lots of respect to the umpire though, rumor has it he called Conde yesterday and admitted he was wrong and apologized. He gained my respect. But a runner on third with one out sure could've been a game changer. It was a great game regardless.

Congrats LL, you made plays when it counted and we made mistakes at the wrong time.
