When I was laid out hurt(ing), I really didn't care at all what anyone else was doing other than the few tending to me. The dude laid out on the field isn't taking a look to see who is doing what, the only persons that care about this is the ones that don't matter. If you're in the stands, on the sideline, or on the field, carry on doing what you need or want to do. If the refs think someone is doing something wrong, they'll deal with it.

It's not "all this talk about football factory." Only one or two people on here have used that term. Most of us on here would love to have a hometown team that could come close to their success. Refugio is not on par with a number of other programs when it comes to titles, but certainly doing a lot with what they have. How many other teams in the state have won 91% of their games over the last 10 years, 2007-2016 to-date? How many other teams have played 144 games over the last 10 years? Very few. They've played a minimum of 13 games in each of those years. Most would gladly take the 132-12 record that Herring has compiled at Refugio along with one championship and two state runner-ups. Even the almighty Yoe has only won 104 games in that same 10 years.

Mason definitely going to need a lot of luck. Refugio defense super tough.

Weird how folks call it a stupid topic, but still choose to click on it and even more so, still choose to make a post on the "stupid" topic. Talking about it on here isn't the really stupid part, it's having to listen to it at 3 or 4 games a year, depending on how many time I can make it to a Yoe game.

Well said WhosYoeDaddy. I watch football all over the state and I've never seen the fans of any other team carry on about this like the Yoe fans. Been to three Yoe games this year and have heard this yelling from the other side in two of the three games. Minor distraction in an overall fun program to watch, but certainly annoying as heck to anyone that's really there simply to watch good football.

Very well put, the yelling overshadows anything else going on and ultimately serves the seeming purpose of drawing attention the the person doing the yelling which in my opinion is likely their reason for yelling it in the first place. They don't give a rip about the hurt kid or they'd shut their yapper and perhaps say a prayer.

Malakoff going to have to show more diversity in their plays than shown by Teague or Yoe defense will bury them. Can they effectively mix in some passing, or are they more similar to Teague, only throwing out of pure necessity?

Lion1996 is right. Mascorro isn't playing QB this year. They're using a shorter and stockier kid and Mascorro is at RB and LB I think. They do still have him take direct snap, Wildcat I guess, but this is very limited.
