I bet Newton had the strongest pre-district schedule in 3AD2. Anyway brakes will probably win this one and I like Gunter but I like Paul Pewitt more.Gooooo Brahmas win state for yourselves,your coaches,your community,your district,your region and East Texas.Remember,youknocked them stripes off the last group of Tigers you faced so do it to these Blue Tigers also.

They might have said it about Canadian. I didn't and I am from Newton so I am one with only a region 3 bias. I really believe their offensive line will wear the Tigers down. Maybe not but I do remember 2 years ago how the Tigers had to many going both ways and just ran out of gas.

Pewitt 15-14. This game will be a great match-up. I have much respect for both team and both are winners to me. I think this game will be won in the trenches and that huge offensive line of Pewitt will wear the Tigers down mid-way of the 3rd quarter and win it in the 4th quarter.

I thought Canadian would win it all but sometimes the ball bounces the wrong way with two equally good teams. Well good luck next year Canadian and great game Gunter. I will be pulling for region 3 and them Brahmas this week though. PP by 3

It might just show that a certain school has a great program during the season and the off-season. They have played several strong schools like Port Neches,Aldine ,Port Arthur High,Port Arthur Lincoln Bumblebees, Beaumont Central. Beaumont High, Beaumont Ozan,Nederland, Jasper,Newton,Crosby and others

I believe it will be all about match-ups and breaks. If Silsbee plays good sound football and don't turn the ball over I think they will be playing in Dallas next week.

Carthage must have changed coaches after 2007 season because Newton played them in 2006, Carthage won 20-18 and in 2007 and Carthage won like 43-36 I think. I think you had a Bickham as head coach. Not sure but I think I am right.

Brahmas vs. Brahmas just makes me think of that old chewing tobacco "Bull of the woods chewing tobacco " I will be pulling for Paul Pewitt Brahmas this time. Region 3 to state. Also to EB if the Brown kid hadn't left the team a day or so before Newton Played them Brahmas the game wouldn't have been close, he was that good ask Daingerfield?

In 4 A It would have to be Silsbee ,started clicking at the right time. In 3 A, it would have to be Paul Pewitt, no way did I expect them to be Quarterfinal champs.

I will be backing PP all the way . The real Daingerfield fans have been pretty solid about there loss. They haven't been bashing refs or anyone. Maybe someone else has and that is generally the case but I was amazed at their graciousness (D-field ) All region 3 is pulling for them Brahmas, win it all and have a parade. .

This game will probably be as close as the Canadian -Abernathy game this past week but I have thought Canadian was the Best team in 3A div 2 all year. Maybe not the first 4 weeks lol. I think they will win it all. I am pulling for reg. 3 if they get there.Canadian wins by 3.

If PP has a big offensive line they will be able to counter that big defensive line. I haven't seen either team play except a few highlight clips but I am pretty sure EB lost 3or 4 pretty good defensive players and I just think PP will win.

Canadian, Canadian has been my pick for state all year.
