Sorry, wasn’t clear. You’re right, BB hasn’t played anyone like Gilmer and that includes Wimberley.

They’ve not played anyone like Gilmer and Wimberley is in the same boat as all the other teams Bellville has played thus far.

Timpson had way, way more team speed and athleticism than Tolar. Before the game I’d heard Tolar was pretty dang athletic and a lot faster than they look; that statement was found to be inaccurate. Congratulations Timpson, glad I got to see it in person!

The reason @89Falcon is so jacked up is this is the first time since the 50’s or something that Bellville has made it to the state championship game. @89Falcon, we understand the excitement and how when you’re doing something for the first time it’s hard to be objective. In 2008, we Bulldog fans were similar, but we had Dwight Smith & Co. We won when no one outside of Carthage (at least no one DFW) thought we could. Celina’s dynasty basically came to an end when we beat them in the state championship game. We’ll see how y’all do and I don’t wish you any ill will. I am pulling for Gilmer, but if Bellville wins we’ll congratulate y’all.

Nah, both those teams are paper tigers. Silsbee doesn’t have a QB and Jasper’s offense just isn’t very good. Don’t believe either of those teams are as athletic as Gilmer, but we’ll see.

Bellville did not impress me in the least. Wimberley looks exactly like they did last year and Bellville couldn’t separate. I think Gilmer is about to expose Bellville.

Wimberley’s QB still can’t throw the ball well. Way better game than the Gilmer versus Glen Rose game though.

Gilmer just way too fast for Glen Rose. GR is a shell of itself compared to last season.

We’re watching this game and all I’ve seen is a lot of GR fans griping from the stands.
