How many yds rushing did Yoe have? O-line dominated last night.

Rhoades will have this Yoe team as ready as they can be but they still have a ways to go. Franklin should win this game but make no mistake, this Cameron team will fight them to the finish. Should be a great a great atmosphere.

I’m sure you could take some positives from this game and even though it was a triple OT, a Rhoades team giving up 64 at home is unusual to say the least.

Anyone have an update on Yoemen at the Lorena Tourney?

Do you know if Luna will stay on as he used to play for Rhoades?

I thought Zeinert may stay on but looks like he may be moving on. Is his son going to be a senior next season?

So what positions are yet to be filled other than D Coord and O line?

Winning and respectability restored in the district will make the unhappy Yoe fans, happy once again.

What does the talent level, beyond the norm, look like for next couple season at Yoe? I'm sure that's one of the things Rhoades looked at before taking this job. Also, what about the district? Looks like Troy may be down and Rockdale up.

I agree that it is time for a change in Cameron, but do you think someone like Brasher could go elsewhere and be more successful? I would imagine its very hard NOT to get caught up in the politics and the people pleasing, being that you are head coach in the town you grew up in. BTW - Rhoades hasn't been the most successful coach in the last 5 years at GP. Why? All I'm saying is sometimes a coach may not be a good fit in one place but can find success in another.

I read where the Sup has assigned a 10 person selection committee for new hire position. How does this work and what role do these people play in the hiring process? Are any of these people school board members etc...?

Other than the Rhoades family, who do you see being a good fit? I like Chris Koetting from Canadian. Do you think a lot of qualified coaches will even apply seeing how the last opening was handled? Yoe is known for being a home boy hiring fest.

Just got through watching his highlights on Hudl. Dam he was so good. Would have loved to seen him in college with a good leg. All that said, I hear was a sweet kid with an infectious smile. My heart goes out to his mom. I pray that he is with the Lord now.

I didn't make the game so when I read the score later that night I was shocked. I thought it should have been swapped the other way around to be truthful. Rockdale has been struggling all year and to come up and dominate, what I thought was, a good Yoemen team says what? This one is a head scratcher. Some of you faithful Yoe guard help me here. Which one is it? 1. Yoe are not that good? 2. Rockdale is starting to buy in to the new coaching staff's philosophy and watch out everybody? 3. Just a full moon anomaly for the Yoe, everything will be OK? 4. Any combination or something else I'm missing. BTW- I haven't seen an exciting, down to the wire, Rockdale / Cameron game in a long while.

There have been a lot of good teams as you mention, but for me, the 1975 team stands out the most. Some say the finest single team talent ever assembled in a Yoe uniform. Fred Johnson, the legendary Rockdale Tigers coach, said he thought it was the finest team he'd ever seen. There is a sad story why they lost that year to HF. Ask coach Cauley, that is if he is still around in Cameron these days.

Agree...i appreciate loyalty but not at the expense of potentially sinking a good program. Pick candidate by performance not personal feelings.

I would think Rockdale HC would be a very coveted position in the 3A and under world of football. They have a good tradition and pipeline of talent there.

Pretty Impressive! 2014 was a year to remember. I believe the 2 best teams played in the Quarter Finals that season.
