Man my goodness. I held my tongue all year but any NFL team that gives Thompson a shot is setting themselves up for failure. Awful coverage safety throughout his career at Texas, run support....meh. He just didn't make much memorable plays. Looking forward to seeing the program with 100% Sark players.

Not automatically saying we win, but yeah...I'd like to see what we do those two years with healthy Tyler McCray and Carey Fortson. Neither were healthy for either state game with ankle injuries. An injury that people forget about in 2009 was FB Keylan Shaw. He was on a ROLL that year before his knee injury against Hallsville put him down for the year.

You have to construct Longview's schedule a certain way though. As good as Longview's program is....Week 1 is typically the time to beat Longview lol Whatever is decided, I think Marshall should be Week 1.

You can't beat a Longview-Lufkin rivalry game atmosphere, even if it has been lopsided lately. But Tyler High is headed in a different direction than Lufkin. I know Lufkin's '25 class is strong but Tyler High may actually be a more formidable opponent for us moving forward.
