A little Texas football trivia for y’all tonight.... My senior year of high school, the Corsicana Tigers played the Willowridge Eagles, (who was led by Thurman Thomas), for the 1982-83 State 4A Championship at Kyle Field in College Station. The Tigers head coach was Don Denbow, who is the current mayor of Corsicana. His grandson, Trevor Denbow #16, is the starting safety & punter for SMU. PonyUp! Go Mustangs!!!

Agreed! Unfortunately, by trying to insulate kids from anything that could hurt their feelings, we now have adults who have difficulty dealing with the ordinary trials & tribulations of life, not to mention anything major that might happen. But go easy on GenX would ya? At least some of us anyway. Most folks don’t realize that Generation X starts in 1965 which means “1st year” GenXers like me are fast approaching 55, & there’s not a whole lot of difference in us & the Baby Boomers born in the decade before us, as we were raised very similarly. However, the Millennials (1981-1996), well, they’re as different from us as day & night.
