  1. Tatum has too much talent to be down too long.
  2. Is Graig James an advisor for Troup? Those guys should not have spit on Superman's cape.
  3. Kilgore is a third tier team in the district this year. They could still go 2 or three deep. Carthage will show the size of the gap between 2nd and 3rd tier teams next week. Panola county Dawgs by 3 tds.
  4. Last time this topic came up some gal wanted to meet up and fight me in the Lowe's parking lot because I said no to the idea.
  5. I know coach Ratliff and his family. He is a good man that was 100% invested in ND and the community. I would be proud to have both of my boys play for him. I really hope he decides to continue coaching in East Texas even though he has several connections in the Houston area. Knowing what kind of man he is, he will take this experience and use it to become a better coach and AD when given the next opportunity. I really do not think another coach could have done more given the same resources. He joins an endless list of good men and good coaches unable to reach unrealistic expectations of the community.
  6. You might be right, but this move would not require a home relocation and all that goes along with that. Who really knows what he would do. I'm sure if offered, he would entertain the idea. I think the talent level coming up in both schools will have a bigger impact than money at this point in his career. I too would love to see him get one more ring.
  7. You started your reply with money then you end it with money yet you say, "Money isn't everything". Do you even see how completely unable you are of adding to this thread? You could eat a bag of scrabble letters and poop out a better response.
  8. Since I started this thread I would like to address some issues. 1. This was never meant to be a troll thread. The fact that it swayed heavy toward ATM and Texas is just the way an East Texas board works. 2. Those that brought up Patterson and Briles emergence make a good point. 3. It seems OU and OSU have been hard hit by the changes. Question: Does this change eventually lead to the OK schools changing conferences, and what happens after that. OU will only accept mediocrity for so long?
  9. This is not an Aggie bashing thread. The question is: Do you think the the recruiting landscape has changed since ATM joined the Sec? If anything, it really seems to impact OU and the big time players they used to get from Texas. Of course ATM has clearly benefited.
  10. Never was a Keyshawn fan,but happy to see him open the door to the Big 12 for a recruiting pipeline. Smart to let him bring his boys on a tour of the schools. Surprised receivers have not considered Baylor.
  11. That would be good. Even Mack had some California and Colorado recruits. Ricky Williams turned out decent even though he was a Malkovich (sp) recruit.
  12. Bingo. Internet makes the Aggies a hard team to cheer for.
  13. Hard not to reply to sound logic.
