Pulling for Hughes Springs but I think Hooks may be too much.

Good luck, Daingerfield will bring a little more to the table than what you think. Should be a good game.
-
Good coaching, good athletes, luck...whatever you think it will take, Daingerfield is capable of it...and I like our chances.

It won't be easy, but the Tigers can win. Should be a good game.

Daingerfield 39 Hughes Springs 20

Daingerfield plays New Boston in Daingerfield next week. The scoreboard deal, Daingerfield scored late and the points weren't put on the scoreboard. Score was 39-20 and the scoreboard showed 32-20. -
Early 90's, not exactly sure what year he graduated !!! Chris graduated in '91.

The only race will be for second and third place between Atlanta and Pittsburg. L-E finishes #1, I feel like Atlanta will be #2 and Pittsburg will come in 3rd.

I was told they were going to bring in some more bleachers for this game. I'm not sure if that if fact or not, but I heard that a few weeks back.

Is Carthage Ganna Go All The Way
bluetiger114 replied to Triponthephone's topic in High School Sports
Is this just something you dreamed up,, or do you have substantial proof or a special knowledge of the Buckeyes,, to make such a statement? I don't know much about Carthage!! But what I do know is this years Gilmer team,, is twice the team they were last year. You do realize the Buckeyes have averaged 53 points a game on offense,, and in my opinion,,, they haven't really hit on all 8 cylinders yet all year. Besides, they have put the second and third string in by the 2nd posession of the second half in every game except the Tatum game, and to start the 3rd posession of the second half against Daingerfield. It's obvious you do not know what this offense is all about. What I do know, is that if we play Carthage,, Carthage will need to bring their best game if they want to have a chance. This is not bragging,,, cause we can be beat,, that can happen to anyone. But someone is going to have to prove they can score 60 points on us if they want to beat us. Cause if our A team stays in the whole game, I think they can put up 60 on anyone in the state. This is just my opinion,,, I don't mean to ruffle any feathers. Maybe Carthage is the team to stop us,, but they will have to prove it to me first. Gilmer put the second string in against Daingerfield on the 3rd posession of the second half? Could have sworn that was Kinne that flung the 45 yard touchdown pass with 4 minutes left in the game. First teamers played for most of the game against the Tigers. -
I'll take the blue Tigers

I think it was the in the playoffs back in 1985. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Daingerfield wins.
-
Atlanta by 4 touchdowns.
-
Dekalb won...believe it was 27-12.

Daingerfield wins big. It won't get any easier after this week, but that first "W" should help the Tigers out a lot.

1700 employees and a record year for earnings last year, I would hardly say the mill is closed down. I would, however, agree with you Bullhead...a lot of the LSS employees that have school age children are moving to other school districts. I think the last time Daingerfield had a losing season was early to mid 90's. Actually started the season 0-3 back in 1999, the year after the state final run...then ran off a 6-1 record to finish the year. Lost to Hooks in Bi-district that year.

WHO WILL BE OUR STATE CHAMPS IN FOOTBALL IN 2006.
bluetiger114 replied to eagle9166's topic in High School Sports
Spring Hill's best year was in 2002 when they lost in the 4th round to Daingerfield. -
What about putting Pittsburg in with Atlanta, PG, LE and NB...only 20 minutes west of Daingerfield.
